Easier to quit over a failure to keep your dick in your pants than it is to admit criminal complicity in the Benghazi affair.

David Petraeus resigns as CIA director. I haven't had much for him since he sold his soul to Obama.

Only thing missing is a dual-mount for a pair of M-16s. ;-)

I love seeing these upper echelon military officer types having to resign in disgrace. It shows they are no different than anyone else, as though, being an officer...they're above reproach. Ha! I just hope one day Obama faces his Waterloo moment..when the rest of the nation finally discovers ..("oh my!")...he's murdered three American citizens... one of them being a 16 year old boy. Although..just like F&F...ain't gonna happen. Unfortunately..what America doesn't understand is..when they voted for him..in reality..not only did they legitimize a murdering regime...they also became ACCOMPLICES. PERIOD. Congratulations America.
Oh, and btw, for any of you who'll come back with "but they were "terrorists!" crap..ummm ...in case you don't remember...that is why we have a fourth and fifth Amendments. They were STILL an American citizen. If they were "terrorists"..let the government PROVE it in a court of law. Just like YOU would demand if you were arrested for something. Unfortunately, these three Americans weren't even charged, nor prosecuted. Obombardiar simply judged them guilty..and assassinated them with a drone. If that isn't murder..I don't know what is.

intdTyp47There is another possibility.

The general was ready to blow the whistle on the Libya mess, and the president told him to resign or more dirt than the one affair would be made public.

Obama already had the dirt on Petraeus before this and used it to keep him quiet about the Benghazi affair; then they threatened to release it anyway, throwing him under the bus, scapegoating him AND destroying his remaining credibility for anything that he might say. The scumbag deserves whatever he gets.

And thousands of people were pissed off when Move On called him "Betray Us".

Guess they were right - albeit for the wrong reasons.

I wonder if Petraeus was being blackmailed (by Obama/Eric Witholder over the affair) to fall on his sword over over Benghazi and said screw it, resigned, outed the affair, and preps to testify to Congress next week.

What if the FBI tried to use that info as blackmail for silence? If that is the case, Petraeus didn't like them to have ability to have something over his head. Sort of reminds me...

"Did you really think we want those laws observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against... We're after power and we mean it... There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt. Now that's the system, Mr. Reardon, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with."
