As does one of the victims.

You should probably leave this one well alone, Mike at least for the time being. Nothing good can come of endlessly repeating the horrors of this situation in public forum, while increasing the likelihood of one of the victims reading it, and reliving every moment of it in all too vivid detail, as a result. I know everyone means well here, but this is not OUR business. It's theirs. They'll handle it.

I also know EXACTLY what I'm talking about here, as one of those former victims of this same crime. I was barely older than 15 at the time, and spent 25 years coming to terms with it. I'll tell you what was the worst of it: The onlookers, all wanting to say 'the right thing', while never knowing that this was something they could never do... but they sure kept trying, didn't they? Fuckers. The most useful thing that onlookers can do here is shut it, and look away.

What this means to the gun industry, in the eyes of the trolls, doesn't escape me either. We all know this, but honestly, who gives a shit? What??? Another 'reason' for the haters to hate??? Say it ain't so!!! None of us are solving the problem here. We're just marveling at someone else's great misfortune, while simultaneously feeling revolt at the sight of the details, and the addiction to it that keeps us from looking away.

There is also a possibility that this is all just another lie thrown out to the masses for whatever reason. Time will tell. At that time, if it is all a lie, then all bets are rightfully off, but be honest with yourselves: what do you really KNOW about this? I know one thing, and one thing only about this situation. The young lady and any others who are the victims here want to FORGET. I say give them what they want. In their mind, justice is secondary to separation from the pain, and it's not our place to try to dictate the terms of either.

So are you saying he did it?

I gave money to his defense fund and if he's guilty ... well you're a praying man and know what that means.

DAMMIT.

Time to call the bank and issue a stop order????

I'm gonna stay with exactly what I've said all along.
Those who know things should tell the truth. For all to see.
Issue no punishment to anyone until all rights are observed respected and protected.
Adjudicate it out in court before a jury of peers and THEN judge. THEN punish accordingly whomever is guilty if whatever actual crime.

Many are guilty here of the exact same thing in ferguson Missouri. They have EMOTION running the show rather than the Constitutional process that's SUPPOSED to guide things of this nature.

Follow the tenants of our Constitution and witness it's glory - see its value and remember why such wise men constructed what they did! Resist the accusation bandwagon that so dominate our downward spiral culture. If an officer is guilty he will get what's coming to him honestly and do to will a shop owner. If they are innocent then truth will keep them free.

We can destroy the race card the molester card the homophobe islamophibe and hoplophobe construct by simply holding the line at the constitution.

In spite of all the pain inflicted on those involved, this scandal will have about as much lasting impact on the firearms/2A community as Errol Flynn's statutory rapes did on Hollywood.

Ya, deep weeds. Prayers for the family. Like the poster above said, some shit just can't be erased from your head. It's faded but it's still there. Lord please comfort and aid this family in it's time of need.
