Rand Paul, spoken like a true politician. Oh and course, ol' Randy didn't mean the 'Pubs should be more like the Dems (you mean as in left wing and right wing of the same bird ?). Why hasn't he attacked soetoro-obama's constitutional illegitimacy ? Why hasn't he come right out and called soetoro-obama a usurper to Article 2, Section 1, Clause 5 ? At what point does an elected elite come right out and tell the truth,i.e., the Constitution is dead !

Obama is a symptom, not the problem. He's merely carrying the torch of tyranny for presidents who came before him. He didn't initiate the War on Drugs, the War of Terror, "Homeland" Security (a fascist propaganda term if there ever was one), or most other assaults on liberty and justice. The problem isn't any particular psychopath walking the halls of government, but our hopelessly corrupt political system.

Government in the US, especially at the federal level, is far too big, too powerful, too centralized, and too beholden to wealthy lobbyists. The Bill of Rights is ignored whenever government finds it expedient to do so.

Most Americans are clueless about the situation, thanks largely to the co-opting of the mainstream media by the ruling two-party establishment. All mainstream political debate remains tightly confined within the "GOP vs Democrats" paradigm, and Big Government always wins that debate.

As I once heard someone put it, elections only change the players on the field -- they don't change the game itself. We are not going to vote our way out of this mess. Recently it was reported that a quarter of Americans are open to secession, so maybe people are waking up. Hopefully that trend will accelerate in spite of the continued efforts of the government propagandists and their flag-waving, military-worshipping useful idiots.

Unity is not found in diversity.
It never will be.

The answer is to unite around core principals and the RIGHTS that become self evident upon doing so.

It really is that simple.

Rand Paul just talks to talk I think; even I am getting sick of the guy. Do something a-hole instead of just telling us how we are getting screwed. This guy is just annoying.

At this point in time Washington DC is just a giant puppet show. Napoleon said it best 200 years ago: " “When a government is dependent upon bankers for money, they and not the leaders of the government control the situation, since the hand that gives is above the hand that takes. Money has no motherland; financiers are without patriotism and without decency; their sole object is gain.”

I got your diversity right here, Rand Paul.
