Priceless. And speaking of communists. . .
So, I'm walking down the aisle at the thrift store yesterday and what do I see but a double-extra-large example of this tee shirt, brand new:
Looking at the price tag and roughly calculating the tag-color discount-of-the-day plus my old fart's percentage, I saw that it was less than a buck, I had to have it, so I carried it up to the register, pleased as punch. The line was long and I was short on time to go pick up Rosey, but no matter. While I waited, I held it out in front of me, fully displaying the iconic image, looking at it and smiling. Some clueless young bearded slacker was behind me in the line and commented, "Wow. I like the tee shirt." "Yeah," I enthusiastically replied, "it'll make a GREAT target the next time I go to the gun range. Images of commie murderers always make the best aiming points." You should have seen his face. Priceless.

So, could you tell if he was one of the ignorant Che fans or if he just liked the picture?
Was Che Guevara an ardent communist? Absolutely. Was he Fidel Castro's right hand man? Absolutely.
But one does not have to like or admire someone to learn from his tactics.
Guevara wrote a book, in 1961, on Guerrilla warfare tactics that was considered the bible on the topic at the time.
From wikipedia: ....."Guerrilla Warfare (Spanish: La Guerra de Guerrillas) is a book by Marxist revolutionary Che Guevara that was written right after the Cuban Revolution and published in 1961. It soon became the guidebook for thousands of guerrilla fighters in various countries around the world.....Guevara emphasizes that guerrilla warfare is a favorable method only against totalitarian regimes"......
Book is available here for those interested in reading it:

So as our nation sinks deeper in the direction of outright tyranny (political dissenters are "terrorists", The IRS is used on the political enemies, etc) some of those methods detailed by Guevara may become useful again. It is not all that different from the 4GW that we have discussed many times here.
In Cuba, just like the American colonists, little guys armed with whatever they could find, took on the oppressors and defeated them in the end.
I saw a kid (teens) wearing a Che t-shirt one time and asked him who his favorite communist was. All I got in reply was a stupid deer in the headlights look so I laughed in his face and moved on.
Oh I wish I was standing with you in that line busting my gut to that clueless lib, Sometimes to have a camera handy...
I was going to use Springsteen's "Born to Run" album for the same thing, but got sick of looking at it before i could get to a range and just snapped the old record in half..now i have two targets
I knew it was coming as soon as I saw the image... *snickers*
After using it for that purpose, how about sowing us want it looks like "after"?
Maybe even after a round or three from a small shot scatter-gun!
Mike, Speaking of ranges....I have a female friend that recently had her house broken into. She would now like to pursue a carry permit. I don't live in Alabama, so can you or someone on this site recommend a good practice range and an instructor willing to train a newbie in the use of handguns? This would be in the Dothan area. Thanks
PO'd American,
Check with The Outpost, which is a good firearms store in Dothan. They are located on the Ross Clark Circle. Between Lowe's and the Harley Davidson dealer, on the same side of the street as the Harley dealer. They are good people and will know if there is an indoor range in Dothan.
Two years ago there was a gun shop in Daleville on US84, about 1 mile east of S. Daleville Ave. I don't remember the name of this store, but they have an indoor range.
There is a good gun show held two or more times a year at the Peanut Festival location, which is on US 231 South, a few miles south of Ross Clark Circle.
I live about 200 miles away, in Mobile, and have spent a lot of time in the Dothan area visiting in-laws.

I prefer the t-shirts that feature a similar beret-wearing chimpanzee's head with the words "LA EVOLUCION".
Years ago someone gave me a similar shirt, with the colors reversed.
One pan from the Lewis ventilated old Che like the Bolivian army had.
What remained served as dipstick rags for a few years.
There is even still a market for this stuff, witness www.thechestore.com
You got a bargain, based on their prices.
I'll buy the shirt from you if it isn't too shredded.
Halloween coming up soon so there might be some Politicians Masks available this month.
