Prosecutors fight Reese motion to vacate felony convictions on gun sales

The crux of the government's arguments revolve around testimony of Jose Roman, a member of La Linea, the enforcement arm of the Mexican Juarez cartel trying to save his own skin. As this column reported two years ago, when it noted “Records don’t back witness for the prosecution in Reese gun case,” Roman has been a career criminal since the age of 17, smuggling illegal aliens, guns and drugs, and who has been offered a plea deal in exchange for testimony. Significantly, he also admitted on the witness stand that he had provided false statements while making firearms purchases from the Reese’s gun shop.

Roman was let into the USA at 6 years of age. He was provided all the government assistance and that includes free schooling as well as the state of N.M. paid him to care for his father in their home! Roman's wife also a mexican citizen had a brother that was a major drug dealer in Farmington N.M.Roman was a "federal rat" in the case against his brother inlaw. He cut a sweet deal with DOJ attys then and went right back to a criminal lifestyle.Rumored to have had grenades and full auto firearms,Holder's DOJ left this mexican in the country to do what he's done best all his life. The DOJ and ATF created Fast & Furious as a method to eviscerate 2A rights and now all heaven's antithesis is breaking loose. My family and friends promise we will continue the good and Godly fight for truth and justice.Keep the faith and prayers,
thx Rick and family, ps. thank all of you @ sipsey street irregulars.......

This is to be expected from prosecutors who detest having anything less than a 99% conviction rate. The Gov't gave Sammy "the Bull" a sweet deal even with 18 "known" murders under his belt just to get Gotti. What is it all tyrants say?: "you got to break a few eggs to make an omelet"?..I say "if you lay down with dogs you're bound to get flees"...
