"ATF Arrests 'Commanding Officer' Of TX Citizen Militia On Weapons Charge"
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. -- I Peter, Chapter 5, Verse 8.
The collectivist Talking Points Memo reports: Authorities arrested a Texas man belonging to a citizen militia on weapons charges Monday morning. Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives booked Kevin "KC" Massey in Brownsville, Texas, according to local station KGBT. Massey belonged to the paramilitary group "Camp Lonestar," a colorful outfit that sports guns, military fatigues, and soul patches in its mission to secure the border.
According to Gary Hunt Massey was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
LATER: Here is the story as reported by the Brownsville Herald: Militia man arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Yeah, I hate the "felony possession" provisions of the Gun Control Act of 1968; if felons are dangerous if they owned a gun, why are they not incarcerated or dead?
But this is really a different issue. I think ATF is cranking up their "get the militias" department again.
Im interested in how this case is disposed of.......being that being in possession of a firearm while a felon is NOT necessarily a crime in Texas(provided its been longer than five years since final disposition of the sentence), but this charge is evidently FEDERAL.......could there be some conflict of interest?
Again we see the use of "prohibited persons" lists. Now it is used to attack militias. It seems to be a general purpose tool for tyrants.
At some point it will dawn on people that it apparently no longer makes sense to tolerate being arrested. The enemy is already at war, and we are in his sights.
In the big picture, the enemy may have lost this encounter; all they managed was taking out one man while warning all the others that a war must soon come.
If he can't be trusted with a gun, then why's he out of prison?
Amazing how ATF decides when to use felon in possession charge. For example, Steward and Chambers were allowed to buy 350 guns by Phoenix ATF "so they could get to cartel leaders" even though no effort was made.
If you are a felon, regardless of being a Patriot, you should not have a gun. Change the law and then you can have your guns back. You do a dis-service to all of us when you are arrested as a felon in possession of a firearm. Please stay home or if you intend to patrol the border do it unarmed.
Why would a convicted felon *seek media?*
He was all over internet and YouTube last couple of months.
This is someone who has been put up to this. He may not even be aware of it. The idea is kind of like "American Spring" - demoralize people, and reinforce stereotypes.
This event will discourage others from doing same, and is basically what I call "reverse false flag." This has ATF fingerprints all over it. I bet a network analysis of his contacts would show ATF or DHS handlers. I am also guessing "Fusion Center" on this one. It's an op.
