U.N. "Peacekeepers" on the job provide another sterling example of vigilance and bravery.

Oh, well, if they were only RAPING women.

Textbook case on how NOT to defend a community.

Send the villages guns. That should make it abate somewhat.
Oh, but that would "cause conflict," as most of the UN and Mexico's president says. Aggressors HATE conflict. They prefer whimpering submission.
The peacekeepers got there in time to fill out some paperwork, like the police.

Given the fact that most UN troops are rented armies from 3rd world countries, I don't get the fear of what the UN could do in the US. The population of the US would have to be totally disarmed and hog tied before what is essentially an armed mob could pose a threat.

Hillary Clinton visited the Congo in 2009 to raise awareness about widespread rape in the region...the United States pledged $17 million to the Congolese government to fight sexual violence.

17 mill would buy a lot of AK's on the open market. Armed women do not become victims. However, knowing the statists, they bought condoms with the money. Revolting.

Hell, the UN 'peacekeepers' were probably some of the rapists...

Maybe we should send Hillary there and leave her. Let her fend for herself and see how far her smart mouth gets her. Along with her good looks, she might last a few hours. Faux News could send us a follow up on how well she did helping those poor women.

How many AKs will that buy? Give each woman a rifle and some training...

There are things worst then civil war, and I think we found an example. Think about that for a second.

The New York Times wants way too much information to let you see the story. But if it's anything to do with the UN? No one would be surprised at anything from learning that they were using UNICEF funds to buy nukes for Iran, to releasing photos of Ban ki Moon performing unspeakable sexual acts with tapeworms and chimps in bondage.

....weekend raid in Chicago....

Are these men so charming that an assault doesn't result in their missing at least one appendage?

Cheers.

Stop and consider the same potential here, my friends. Your wives and daughters are equally vulnerable to roving gangs / golden horde types if you don't arm them and teach them to shoot. You won't always be at the home base to defend them when the system comes crashing down around us... and even if it doesn't - I would feel better knowing my children know how to shoot for maximum effect.

"Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton visited eastern Congo in 2009 to raise awareness about widespread rape in the region, calling it “evil in its basest form,” and the United States pledged $17 million to the Congolese government to fight sexual violence."

you cannot fix the problems of the world with cash. Go look at the inner city ghettos of America (Detroit for example) where gov't handouts are the rule.. A handout solves nothing.

@ Hollywood- perhaps i am misunderstanding you; this story is about civil war. Hutu vs Tutsi. Same as it has been for years in that corner of Africa.
