Never, ever, eat a ballpark hotdog in Starkville, Mississippi.

Death warmed over lurks beneath the surface in Starkville, Mississippi

I did yesterday at the Mississippi State versus Southern Miss women's soccer game and it knocked me for a loop. I'll be back posting tomorrow.

Didn't Johnny Cash write a song about Starkville, Mississippi?

I'm sure it wasn't about a hot dog, but it wasn't a fun time.

Get well soon, bro.

Geez, Mike, you eat hot dogs cooked in public? Hell, I'm not crazy about my MREs that contain the five fingers of Death...

Sorry to hear it. If you feel up to reading still I just read an interesting and quite good (in my opinion) article on the "true source of the right to bear arms" http://www.ncc-1776.org/tle2008/tle459-20080309-04.html

I'd advise against anything from any ballpark other than a sealed candy bar.

Hope you are back to your fighting strength soon.

You ate the one finger of death, huh?

How can any place screw up a hot dog? It's un-American!!!

Hope you feel better.

I coulda warned you; Starkville is the home of the Colgate Dental Floss Recycling Center, and the local drugstores carry a regional favorite of men's cologne called Eau d'Abbatoir.

Then again - you didn't see a black SUV with blacked out windows and a GOV license plate lurking around behind the concession stand did you?

Practice for the coming unpleasantness when we have to do a little scrounging for foodstuffs?

Sounds like you might have experienced something out of one of your chapters of Absolved. Any chance they thought you worked for Brightfire?

Glad to see that you're still alive and kicking. Was beginning to wonder if the feds had decided to silence their least favorite gadfly.

Hope you get to feeling better, Dutchman.

MIke, I read the article DB referenced. VERY good stuff IMHO. It would seem to dovetail nicely with your ideas. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the idea that "our right to bear arms depends [solely] on . . . our willingness to kill anyone who attempts to confiscate them"

What part of Go! Dogs! did you not understand? Hate that you were sick. I have eaten many a dozen in Duty Noble Field with no ill effects.
Get well.
