Based on many other details published here, Brown appears to be little more than a stalking horse for the BATFE, allowing NFATCA to act as an independent, “civilian” organization that rubber stamps and validates regulations the ATF wishes to impose. Having him on the Board of the NRA would just give more credence to his words and very likely will undermine the effectiveness of the NRA’s work against further encroachment of our rights. These details were found in all of five minutes’ worth of internet searching on his name. How was this not found earlier? Are our nomination committee candidates not being vetted? Or do the committee members see no danger or inappropriateness in this submission? This candidacy should be withdrawn immediately or, if not, this man should not be allowed a seat on our Board.

For the love of God, please STOP giving the NRA the benefit of the doubt! This IS KNOWN and WAS KNOWN - and it's not viewed as a hindrance to be explained...its a job qualification DESIRED by the NRA elite.
They are NOT on We the People's side, Mike, they are - without doubt- on governments side and now brazenly openly seek to empower state governments with the very powers the Second Amendment was intended to block ALL levels of government from attaining.
Call the NRA what IT IS - the biggest and best disguised gun CONTROL group in this country.
the NFATCA membership is more interested in increasing the value of their collections than any sort of firearms rights.
otherwise, they'd be pushing for an NFA amnesty or the return to civilian legal manufacture again.
since they do neither, they're more like art collectors than actual gun people.
"I got mine! F**k everybody else!" -- NFATCA
I would no more spend money on the NRA than I would any organization associated with prime Judenrat Gottlieb.
Trying to find out who nominated this dirtbag so I can vote against him as well. Anyone have the scoop on this?
