Boehner-McConnell retreat in Obama amnesty fight panics conservatives

“People are this angry about it. They feel as if they are already not represented and essentially they have been betrayed by most of the people they just worked to elect in November,” said Mr. Deace. “That’s why people are angry at this, because they realize the people that are in charge of our party don’t believe in almost anything in our party platform. They don’t. They are just treacherous.”

What, are they just now feeling betrayed? These fools will turn around and Rah-Rah for Team GOP in 2016, all while claiming those of us who've had enough of a rigged game are the ones who don't have a right to complain.

Agreed anon at 2:40.

I can't help but laugh at them.

I always vote. Local, State, and National elections. When asked in Nov. by pollsters outside the Elem. School where I vote, to choose candidate A over candidate B, I told them flat out, "They both suck, I miss Tar & Feathering, and will play this voting game until the citizens of this country take it back." For a moment I thought I would be talking to Officer Safety when I walked out after voting, as the look on those pollsters faces was priceless.

I know the instinct might be to say to these people, "after ALL this time, you're just NOW feeling betrayed?" But, different people "wake up" to reality at different rates. We may be the vanguard; heck, I left the Republican party years ago. But there are people I know who are just now understanding that the Republican party is, for all intents and purposes, just as statist as the Democrat party. It takes some people time to get it. Be glad they have woken up.

Boehner, McConnell, et al..... god dammit I hate those fucking guys. Why don't they just change their R's to D's and make it official? From where I sit, they are liberals.

I'd feel betrayed too if I was in Boehner and McConnell's states or districts.

I'm not.

I thank God every time I think of him for my (R) congressman, while I continue to vote for the (R) candidates that oppose my two (D) senators, every chance I get. Also, at the state and local level where we are starting to see tax reductions and shifting away from union-influenced pricing of government contracts.

By such nibbles are elephants-- or "rhinos"-- eaten :)

Retire a Republican!

If you have an incumbent, primary him - replace him with a conservative. If your incumbent RINO gets through his primary, vote conservative in the general election, even if it means voting third party. The republicans have already established that there is no meaningful difference between D and R.

The only way to get the republicans to run conservatives is to show them that is the only way to get the conservative vote. If you hold your nose and vote for a republican socialist, the republicans will continue to run socialist candidates.

Holding our noses and voting R has brought us into our current fix. Holding our noses in 2016 and voting R again is going to produce the same bad results it always has.

Voting for deliverance is about as useful as screwing for chastity!

More robust methods are indicated in the near future ...

Blue pill or red pill?

There are people in the clique and people who are not. Periodically the people in the clique shuffle the labels and then fight "to the death" over which label is better. But in reality nobody dies and the things the clique wanted done seem to get done no matter what label got them done. The labels and fighting are just a show to distract the people outside the clique from the hand in their back pocket.

There are only two groups that matter: Statists and Libertarians. Does the state own the people or do the people own the state. And I'm not talking about Jesse Ventura, Ron Paul or Rand Paul Libertarians. I'm talking about Mark Levin and Murray Rothbard Libertarians.

Why is suicide not just wrong but also a crime? Because some see suicide as destruction of state property.

"After years of secret slavery the Republican Party and the Democratic Party come out into the open and reveal to themselves and to the nation as nothing but the right wing and the left wing of the same bird of prey. There is not a word in either of their platforms that might not have been written and unanimously endorsed by a convention exclusively of corporation lawyers and Wall Street Bankers. The only difference between these platforms as some one has remarked, is the number of words used to say nothing. Confronted by the gravest crisis in the history of civilization, they have demonstrated, even to their own adherents, that they are without the vision of statesmanship, the courage of leadership or the conviction of patriotism."

Allen McCurdy, Keynotes for the Third Party National Convention (1920).

The best analysis I have seen, is available at http://afr.org/the-political-spectrum-con/

Elegantly written in 2005, it explains everything we're seeing right now.

HIGHLY recommended.

The law of Unintended Consequences, can be predicted to occur when the writers of "real" laws are sufficiently pig-headed or stupid as they are now, but the unintended outcome cannot be seen ahead of time. While we are studying the possibility of civil war caused by gun confiscation, it may come to us as a result of unrestricted invasion of our country by illegal aliens first. We WILL be taking our country back, peacefully or otherwise. Don't get in our way.

I have to laugh at all the D vs. R complaints, or the "native" vs. "alien" complaints. And this from supposed anti-collectivists, whose actions are every bit as collectivist as communists or progressives. Heaven forbid that we'd actually treat people as individuals.

Meanwhile, the ruling class has us just where they want us: "divide and conquer".

What are you guys going to do when your son marries a Mexican gal?

Taking the name of our LORD GOD in vain is bad enough let alone reposting it. Without GODS help, this country is going to HELL in a hand basket. Something our forefathers knew AND PRACTICED.

@ Paul X- I like the Mexican people just fine. But I love my country more. By the way, what will you do when a muslum terrorist, who has sneaked in through our porous "borders" tries to kill you or your family ?

When a platform is repeatedly ignored, it may gain attention by installation of a trap door and a rope.

Just saying.

I'll get back to you when that happens. In the meantime, I will try not to lose any sleep over this, or the possibility I might get struck by lightning tomorrow. Dude, try growing a pair.

Here, I wrote something about this topic:
