Not sure the folks at Remington will appreciate the copy addition of "Attention Politicians". Thought it was an interesting ad even before the photoshopping.

I simply love the new Remington ad.

I'm sure they'll be accused of fomenting "hate" & "discord".

LOVE IT!!
I'd donate money to have it put on a billboard.

With no identifiable organization or chain of command these five million men are, in reality, only five million targets, waiting to be defeated in detail.

If onlt 3% fight we are sill the bigest armed force on earth. AND WE KNOW IT. If one third of the known gun owners stand we out number the combined military and police of europe an the US.The reason the UN wants our guns is simple, WE are the single largest armed force IN HISTORY. Why do y'all think they want so badly to divide us.

I've got two of those. One in 30 '06 and another one in .270 Winchester. Sweet!

All "identifiable organization" should be on the local level. How quickly we forget the lessons of history, especially those taught to us by the Viet-Cong. I like the ad.

Do I detect a Fed asshole troll. Sounds like Tokyo Rose. And you know what happened to her. What amazes me though is..DUH! OF COURSE THEY ARE TARGETS..THEY HAVE GUNS...BUT THESE TARGETS SHOOT BACK...AT TARGETS TOO. DUH! Now, I'll try DOLTS for $2k.

Mine's in 270 - the gun is incredibly accurate and capable of putting 5 shots at 100 yards in the space of a dime (did this once).

Q. Fabius Pictor...

please go research the principle of the the starfish and the spider.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Starfish_and_the_Spider

"no identifiable organization or chain of command" means they don't know where or who to hit, but we DO.

it is a strength, not a liability. get your head out of army organization tables and get your boots in the mud.

Rem 700 - Just like sex: if you pick it to death, you can find something wrong with it - but it sure pleases a whole lot of people

Q. Fabius Pictor, tell that to the Afganis...

Called 'Parrot guns' by some IIIs down here as they are extremely suitable for putting a stop to tyrannical 'pollies' depredarions.

However I could not possibly comment ...

A most excellent ad. Both historically correct and correct today.
I am priveleged to have a safe full of CF rifles, all of which are capable of 1" or less groups. (that is except the Garand) I am also a certified instructor, capable of teaching willing volunteers joining the worlds largest army.

Can't be very dangerous. Doesn't even have a bayonet lug. Nor a protruding pistol grip, a high capacity magazine, or a "shoulder thing that goes up". Nothing happening here. Move along, Citizens!

I was shooting my 700SPS (.308) this weekend. I was shooting Black Hills 175gr BTHP Match grade ammo.

I was putting a following-shot bullet into an already existing bullet hole.

Love ya Remington. Mean it!
