“I expect the crowd in power to destroy everything…”

Be sure and read the comments.
The population has known subconsciously for a long time that something is very rotten, and that things are going to fail at some point, in what will likely be an ugly upheaval. ‘Til now, that sense was captured by the “zombie apocalypse” trend, which gave middle America a way of considering the pending chaos and collapse in a manner that didn’t require them to consider shooting their neighbors.
Got militia?

Good God. Several of the posters acted like they'd never even heard of Katrina, let alone whats coming! Prepare for a week or two! Then what, you pathetic, uninformed, sheep? Never mind, leave them be. Their brain disease might just be an airborne virus and trying to help will infect you.

Be nice, they are just now realizing how badly they've been lied to and misled. The fact that it's been done to them intentionally should be a comfort to us because now they will see the evil people behind this for what they are.

People don't like being lied to and then having to pay the bill for those lies. This is especially true when you lose family because of it. That tends to become a matter of fighting evil that can no longer disguise itself, which is generally dealt with coldly and without emotion.
