Notice

I don't know if I will get to post anything tomorrow until late, for Rosey is going in early for gall bladder surgery. I'll try to have something for y'all, but no promises. Please keep Rosey in your prayers.

Fast and Furious Fiasco: Time to Abolish the ATF
By Clarice Feldman

Voltaire observed "It's a good thing to kill an admiral now and then to encourage the others." This observation inspires me to suggest that when an agency carries out such a bit of idiotic malfeasance as the ATF's operation "Fast and Furious" with the cooperation of agents at all levels of the spectrum, an operation which resulted , among other things in the murder of a U.S. customs agent and prominent relative of a Mexican official, it's time to dissolve the operation and dismiss all of its employees. To encourage the others.
If there are agents in the Bureau unconnected with this operation who have valuable skills and experience we wish to retain, the successor agencies of the Bureau are free to rehire them. As to the others -- those who went along to getalong -- it will encourage federal employees working for an out of control agency to take advantage of the federal whistleblowers procedure and turn in the wrongdoers before such egregious harm comes to pass. It simply is not enough to accede to a pattern of what Darrell Issa calls "felony stupid" conduct and keep your place at the federal table.

You and your family remain always in my prayers. Give Rosey a hug for me. She'll be fine. And I know she'll feel MUCH better later. I did. :)

Both Domino and I offer prayers for your upcoming procedure, as well as for your entire family. Yeah, I know we joke a lot (except about Domino's barkeeping skills), but you have done so much for the cause of freedom, that I feel even leaving my doggy's prayers out would be a sin. Hang in there, and get well soon. Domino still wants the honor of pouring you a shot... but you gotta be quick in the drinking...

God bless you, MVB!

Domino, get your furry ass to the bar!

I haven't contacted you before, but I admire all the work you do for our second ammendment and citizen's rights. My prayers are with you and your wife. Everyone in my husband's family (7)have had their gall bladder removed with little complications. (scar tissue being the worst complaint)!
I have a PhD in public health and own a gun store. We figure I am the only Dr. in Oregon selling firearms!

Good Luck! Donna

As a registered nurse, I can wholeheartedly assure you that there is no surgery that makes a patient feel better as quickly as gall-bladder surgery. Or, as we call it, cholecystectomy. As you probably already know, Rosie will have to be on a low-fat diet for the rest of her life, and that most likely means YOUR diet will change as well. Sorry. Best wishes to you both.

"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." Isaiah 53:5

My wife had this years ago, before laproscopy. God saw us thru that, and I trust He is also there for you.

Prayers continue...
