But then there's this. . . "WE WILL NOT COMPLY!"

Looks like I've got to be in Washington state in December. 5,500 Washington state gun owners intend to engage in civil disobedience over I-594
First Connecticut, and then New York passed gun control laws this year - that many people believe are unconstitutional - turning hundreds of thousands of AR-15 owners into felons simply for not registering their guns. Now, Washington state gun owners intend to take things to a new level in response to Washington's new gun control law. At least 5,500 are planning to openly violate the heavy-handed law, I-594, during a rally at the state capitol in Olympia on December 13th. The law goes into effect on December 4th, after the Secretary of State certifies the election results. Not a single so-called mainstream media source has mentioned the unprecedented event, even though RSVPs continue to increase every day.
This is practically unheard of in the modern era; not only will 5,500 people deliberately violate the law through civil disobedience, but will violate felony gun laws. Washington is one of few remaining blue states that has remained friendly to gun owners, and so gun owners are furious that a handful of billionaires were able to come in and buy the election, contributing about half the $10 million poured into the race to support I-594, almost 10 times as much as the opposition. Unsuccessful at getting the legislature to pass the law, gun control proponents resorted to billionaires to push it through instead as an initiative. Their money provided the resources to afford to run continuous misleading ads on TV.

As well they should. Defy them.

For this reason, Governor Malloy, Governor Cuomo and Governor Hickenlooper were all re-appointed.

"We will not comply" while rolling over and spreading there ass cheeks. War is not AND CANNOT be won with "peaceful protest". It really just go's to show the gun grabbers how hollow and worthless the "cold dead hands" "4G warfare" "civil war II " Bull shit really is. If they won't kill the communist that run their state now, they will never try. Best to "just turn em in America" because you will never ever use them.

Murder is wrong, self defense is not. Anon at 2:32 pm, you seem to advocating for murder. They have to fire the first shot and actually try to take our guns. If cops show up at this rally and attempt to jail all participants who plan to openly defy the law, we could have the Civil War kick off right there and then.

I must agree with Anonymous @ 2:32 PM. I've seen very little from Americans that makes me think they have the balls to risk their lives, especially when there's still beer in the fridge and sports on the telescreen.

Aside from the occasional lone wolf (who always gets condemned and ridiculed after his death or capture) Americans don't seem to have it in them to pick up rifles to defend freedom. They're only willing to fight when there is minimal risk involved. Generally this means "serving" America's corrupt politicians in the US military, or as an enforcer of the domestic police state.

For all the bashing the jihadists get from "free" Americans, at least the jihadists are willing to fight for what they believe in. And they do it against odds that would pucker the ass of almost any US soldier.

Citizens have no rights for which they aren't willing to savagely fight to the death. All other rights can and will be taken away.

I have to agree with Anon 6:02 about the Jihadi's. Don't get me wrong, i hate seeing fellow Christians murdered by them and killing innocent civilians, but those guys armed with little more than an AK and a turban take on guys in armored vehicles, body armor, and all the latest gadgetry. It's because they have nothing to lose. Americans seem to be more interested in their flat screen TV and the latest iPhone than have the belly for a killing war. All the crap we own actually owns us..

Anon @ 5:45 PM,

I'm not sure if he's advocating anything or just expressing a pessimistic opinion. Regardless, the first shot was fired by the jackboots decades ago. They have fired countless shots since then, but only rarely have shots have been fired in return.

Think of all the Americans who have been wrongfully imprisoned, robbed through civil asset forfeiture, beaten, maimed, or killed for committing victimless offenses, or even for no apparent reason at all. Think of all the freedoms we've lost even without our guns being confiscated. Recall the many outrages from the Waco massacre up to the present, when police are beating helpless people to death with impunity and a 90-year-old faces jail for feeding the homeless. No American is even guaranteed due process anymore -- not even on paper, thanks to the NDAA -- and privacy is being attacked with a vengeance. (This is to say nothing of the millions of innocent foreigners who have been killed or oppressed by our fascist foreign policy, dying under our bombs or living under dictatorships imposed and maintained by the US government.)

Seeing how Americans have given up nearly all of their other rights with little more than grumbling, it's hard to imagine them suddenly resisting over the issue of guns. Everyone is probably going to continue to sit around waiting for everyone else to do something. Meanwhile, technology will continue to make the surveillance/police state more powerful until resistance is futile.
