Photos and video from the Patriot's Day event.

Other then the image below I have as yet received none of the photos and video from folks at yesterday's event. I was counting on at least one photo of the Jenny Award but so far haven't received any. When I get them, or the links to the speech video, I will pass them along. Folks who were there say that I did a good job with the speech, but I am always my own worst critic. I will prepare you for one shock, though. I'm wearing a cowboy hat. I misplaced my "Arms Smuggler" ballcap in a friend's car, it drove off to Utah without me, and it wasn't an event that my boonie hat seemed appropriate for, so I borrowed a cowboy hat to keep the setting sun out of my eyes.

This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible. Yet, if we do not try then how will we know it can't be done? And if we do not try, it most certainly won't be done. The Founders' Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, will be lost.

But I tell you this: We will not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we will make with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from that day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.
