Combine the earthquake with this (latest Hurricane Irene path straight up Chesapeake Bay): http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/graphics_at4+shtml/145015.shtml?5-daynl?large#contents
My son, daughter-in-law and grandson live just North of Troy, about 20 miles from the epicenter. My daughter-in-law said that it felt like she was standing on top of a washing machine that was vibrating because it was out of balance. The North Anna nuclear plant reactors shut down automatically and are running on emergency diesel generators. Just like they were designed to do. Next comes the flood from Hurricane Irene?
I like how they told us the quake released the energy equivalent of eight tons of TNT, about half the energy released by the Hiroshima bomb... which was about fifteen KILOTONS, not fifteen tons. Their fact checking leaves LOTS to be desired!
I lived in the Tokyo area for 3 1/2 years. They have 200 measurable quakes A DAY! I was in a 5.5 on the 15th floor of a skyscraper in downtown Tokyo. Whole place was rocking and shaking. The elevators shut down automatically and the motion was too bad to try the stairs. All we could do was sit on the floor and ride it out. Not one of the more fun experiences I had while stationed in the far east.
First thing I thought when I heard about it was the Founders spinning in their tombs....followed by wondering what they've come up with now that we don't know about yet.
I've heard it was caused by Maxine Waters. She was trying her best to open the gates of hell to facilitate the passage of all those Tea Party Patriots. Goofy bitch. [W3]

They wouldn't listen anyway, THEY think THEY are God.

and I'd likely agree with you.
They discovered a fracture line on the east coast. They've already named it "Bush's Fault"

No, North. More like Moochelle farted.
That wasn't an earthquake. That was the bottom falling out of the US dollar.
I'm feeling left out that I didn't feel it here in Georgia.
Interesting that Colorado had the worst quake in 40 years today also.

Everybody in DC goes home early, and the stock market goes up 322.11 points.
Hmmmmm.....
Mudbug got it right, it's the founding fathers ALL rolling over at the same time...

One of several "earthquakes" to come.
I felt it here north-central WV.
It was the Founding Fathers rolling over in their graves over what odumbo has done to America.
I didn't feel a thing in PA....maybe I am numb.
Why is it when this type of thing happens, not one congress-thing dies as a result?

"Maybe God's tryint to tell 'em something."
Lol, I can see it now..."Right wing Christians say God hates Obama!"
