"This distinguished race of men are more savage than the Indians, and possess every one of their vices, but not one of their virtues. I have known … these fellows (to) travel 200 miles through the woods never keeping any road or path, guided by the sun by day, and the stars by night, to kill a particular person of the opposite party." -- George Hanger, British officer formerly attached to Ferguson’s provincial corps.

A unique quality of Americans.
When the time comes to stand and fight for the ideals set forth by the " Founder's". I pray daily "We the People" ,can measure up to their honorable standards/victories. Us patriots in Ct/N.Y. feel something definitely bad is coming down. After the beating we took by the 2nd Kangaroo Court/New York. Redress by the Supreme Court. Is an opium smoker's pipe dream. After the beating I took in my divorce. I swore to God. I would never willingly step into any black robed sand box again.
Behind enemy lines/Ct.
Well...I don't know that it is a quality unique to Americans, or that being American is unique to that quality either. But it is a quality which separates those who can win a war from those who cannot, whether because they will not fight at all or will not prosecute the fight to victory.
It is not the only quality which separates those who can win a war from those who cannot. The ability to pick wars that are even winnable is another important quality, for instance. Neither suffices without the other.
