Kissin' Kollectivist Komrades. Predator birds of a feather plot together:
"Paul Ryan’s Open Borders Push With Luis Gutierrez Exposed in 2013 Video."
Rep. Luis Gutierrez's endorsement of Rep. Paul Ryan for Speaker of the House has drawn new attention to Ryan’s two-decade history of pushing for open borders immigration policies. A previously little noticed 2013 video of Ryan and Gutierrez stumping for Sen. Marco Rubio’s amnesty bill—in which the two make a candid pitch for unlimited immigration—shows just how far Ryan is willing to go to push for open borders policies.
In the wide-ranging 53 minute video, which took place in Chicago, both Gutierrez and Ryan outline their shared plan for adopting open borders: that is, a national policy of allowing companies to bring in and hire as many foreign workers as they would like. This “free movement” of people across national boundaries is the centerpiece of the open borders ideology to which Ryan has devoted much of his career.
The video is entitled: “Rep. Paul Ryan and Rep. Luis Gutierrez Push For Immigration Reform.” The two Congressional partners lay out an immigration plan that is far more radical in scope than many would have imagined, and absent from virtually all major media coverage of the Ryan speakership push. The video gives fresh insight into what legislation Paul Ryan would advance— and what legislation he would block—if given the Speaker’s gavel.

And of course, this is why Romneys election bid failed so miserably when they thought it was all locked up.
For decades now all the establishment republicans have thought we were so stupid that we didn't notice their games. Yes we despise democrats. Yes we abhor seeing them elected. Yes we despise Obama too. But you know what we find worst of all? Lying ass pricks with a R after their names.
And now, here we witness a establishment majority that cannot come up with a majority leader that can address the one single thing that Donald Trump exposed as the one issue Americans agree upon the most - illegal immigration. Literally hundreds of republicans and not even ONE in a position of power in Washington that can take the reigns as speaker now that the scab is picked open. I love this development!
In 2008 the democrats were given a put up or shut up power set. They showed everyone what they would do given trifecta power. Better yet it has been shown what they won't do with that authority (fix things). It takes three election cycles to turn over the senate - a fourth to gain the White House too. That's what's happening next. In 2016, we the people give the pubbies the same put up or shut up power. Knowing this is coming, they try to impose Ryan to do amnesty so it could be blamed on Obama. Except now, gubmint can't get away with things like it used to. I love the Internet for that! The two headed beast called the major parties is dying right before our eyes. Relish in it my fellow Americans. We are finally winning this war to gain back our freedoms!!
Scumbags, both of them are nothing but scumbags. Go to NumbersUSA. Ryan is an old school Republican and should be thrown out like the Boner.

I just want to point out -- for any who are unfamiliar with how the game works -- that H1B visas are a gold mine for companies in the contractin' biz. Those visas are issued under conditions which effectively make the contractor an indentured servant. They can be paid 'below scale' (as compared to American workers) and they'll take it because they get to live in America. All they have to be is 'good at what they do'. They can't even change employers unless the new employer is ready to go get a brand new H1B for the defector.
As a result, companies (especially in the software market) can bring in Indians (usually) who work for half-scale while the contracting company splits the difference with the ultimate employer.
Speaking as one who lost his job to just such a scheme, I'm for open borders. If foreign workers could demand scale wages or offer bargain prices, the cost of labor would quickly find its equilibrium point. The H1B scam prevents that, and it can prevent that --because-- we limit immigration via the 'work visa' route.
They say you can tell a 'principled position' if it hurts the one proposing it. I guess that's my P/P, then. "Open borders" is not a four-letter word, and we would all be better off, in the long run, with them.
I know Mike and DavidC are worried that an influx of Mexicans could imperil the 2nd amendment. While it's not completely implausible, I just wonder how long it would take for those immigrant Mexicans to realize that having 2nd amendment rights works to their advantage. Certainly, coming from a place without a 2nd amendment, they have first-hand knowledge of what happens should it suddenly go away. Just as "there's no anti-Communist like an ex-Communist", I think we would discover "there's no stronger supporter of gun rights than someone who never had any before".
Just sayin'...
