Puke alert.
This was merely predictable: NRA endorses McConnell in Ky. Primary.
THIS email I just received makes me want to puke:
Friend,
As you know, my friend and colleague Mitch McConnell has just won the Kentucky Republican Primary and is poised to become the next Majority Leader of the United States Senate. Mitch has boldly led the Republicans in the Senate against Barack Obama’s liberal agenda and he needs your help to keep the fight going against Harry Reid, President Obama, and their hand-picked candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes in November. The momentum gained by Republicans here in Kentucky will allow us to fire Harry Reid, vote to repeal Obamacare, and make Mitch the next Majority Leader of the United States Senate.
With Mitch McConnell in the Senate, Kentucky is leading America. He is fighting for our Eastern Kentucky coal families against Barack Obama’s War on Coal. He is fighting for our small-business owners burdened by the crippling costs of Obamacare and high taxes. He is fighting for our middle-class families who are hurting under the failed policies of the Obama Administration. Your financial support is crucial to keep Mitch fighting for Kentucky families. Please contribute what you can to his Republican Victory Moneybomb today.
You can always count on Mitch to stand strong for our conservative principles. Not only does he have my full support, he is also endorsed by the American Conservative Union, National Right to Life, and the National Rifle Association.
My Republican colleagues in the Senate are rallying behind Mitch because we know his leadership has kept our party strong and united. Not only did he ensure every Senate Republican voted against the disaster that was Obamacare, but he has led us in the fight to repeal it and helped stop the liberals in their tracks last year when they tried to force gun control on the American people. As conservatives, we must unite around Mitch and send a strong message to the Barack Obama liberals who want to impose their values on us in Kentucky. The liberals have made him their number one target this November because they know they know he is Barack Obama’s biggest obstacle in the Senate. I am committed to backing Mitch all the way to a great Republican victory this November.
I hope you will join him now by contributing to his Republican Victory Moneybomb. While President Obama needs Alison Lundergan Grimes, Kentucky and the nation need Mitch McConnell.
Best,
Rand Paul
U.S. Senator - Kentucky

This sort of nonsense will continue as long as a majority of Americans keep drinking the koolaid of the false Republicrat-Demopublican paradigm. We have to be the change we want to happen. But frankly, I don't see that change happening as long as the status quo continues. But it will continue till enough of the American people have had their fill and the 2nd American revolution begins. I've seen how elections are rigged in the counting room (thanks, Diebold!) and John F. Kennedy said it best: when you make peaceful change impossible, violent revolution becomes inevitable. It's simply a matter of time, and everything between now and that fateful day is simply a dress rehearsal.
Rand is not Ron.
We are way past a political solution, government is the problem.
I haven't seen results from Tues. yet. But count me as a Bevin voter (Actually ANYONE except yellow bellied Mitch). I can Guarandamntee I won't vote for that spineless bastard. Will Grimes win? I don't care anymore. If this is what the GOP wants to be, I don't want any part of it.

There isn't a pennys worth of difference between the partys anymore. Has been in years. I have only registered as a Republican so that I can vote in the primaries against these bastards. I am seeing the exact same thing happen here in Oklahoma with the departure of Coburn. The so-called leading candidate Lankford is a sorry excuse of a legislator...just a political party hack. I'm supporting and encouraging everyone at work to vote for the Tea Party candidate. We need leadership not these paid for party aholes.
Rand wants to be president and he's courting the party instead of the voters. Sad. He's been co-opted.
Rand Paul is to Ron Paul what Old Testament Samuel's sons were to him: corrupt and not a shred of the same integrity of the fearless father who refused compromise.
"Puke" is a euphemism for the RINO birthing process. Reading through that all I heard in my head was "squish, grunt, groan, splash, plop." Another RINO is born. Too bad he's so young. Just means he'll be around longer than most. Good grief this country is so screwed.
I have been berated because I could not vote to help Matt Bevin beat Mitch McConnell on Tuesday. Why? Because I am not a registered Republican. I am an Independent. I thought about going and changing to Republican for about, oh, two seconds but then realized that would make me a hypocrite as I do not like the current republican RINO's that are for big government as much as the Liberals. RS
Ok, I'm a little confused. Has ANYBODY else read Ann Coulters 3/112/14 article on McConnell? Are we SURE we're not being fed a false flag smear job on him? I haven't been following the McConnell "betrayal", so would somebody care to educate me as to exactly what he's done to us in 4 paragraphs or less?
Sorry, but this apple didn't fall 'close to the tree': it was hurled into the next county.
Be interesting to see how ol' Mitch and all his friends do when all those TEA partiers that he and his hate so much stay home or just pull that "D" lever come November.
I suppose you folks would rather keep Harry Reid than have Mitch as Senate majority leader, Huh? I abhor your reaction to having to have Mitch rather than Dingy Harry. Can't you be happy with an improvement? or are you so dead set against The NRA that you would cut your nose off to spite your face?
Sometimes I wonder if you guys are part of the same 3%ers that I am. Hey, DixieDennis.
You're definitely part of the problem and are too ignorant to be part of the solution.

“I wish it were possible to obtain a single amendment to our Constitution. I would be willing to depend on that alone for the reduction of the administration of our government to the genuine principles of its Constitution; I mean an additional article, taking from the federal government the power of borrowing.”
~ Thomas Jefferson, 1798; only 10 years after the Constitution was ratified
Until someone in government starts talking about Jefferson's wish for debt-free money, they're all just bankster puppets to me.
Two essential parts of victory are a deep understanding of your enemy's motivations and capabilities and an equally grounded understanding of the field where the battle will play out.
That having been said here are two places where "we" are screwing up, and will face unpleasant consequences if we don't wise up before TSHTF.
1. Don't use the term RINO. It implies that you expect all Republicans to be conservatives. They are not. They never have been. Are you at all familiar with Prescott Bush or any of the Rockefeller clan? Up until the middle of the 20th century the GOP essentially had no conservative wing.
2. Don't expect the NRA to be out front on the Second Amendment. They are not a Second Amendment focused organization. Never have been. Probably never will be. Yeah, they talk a good line on the subject but so does John Kerry. Watch what they do. The overwhelming bulk of their budget is spent on areas other than defense of the Second Amendment.
Don't be like the frog in the parable. Don't bet your life on the scorpion being anything other than a scorpion.
Maybe Rand is just playing the game so he does have a chance at be elected? It's Possible I guess. Yes comparing the two, father and son, Ron seems more the libertarian but then again he wasn't elected either. I hope this is the case.
Still wish all ballots had a "none of the above" for each election as one of the choices. I wonder how many times "none of the above" would win.
If you want a stand up, GOA A+ rated guy for POTUS, look at the voting record of my Congressman, Dr. Paul Gosar of AZ. He was also up supporting the Bundy family the day of the Battle of Bunkerville took place. He wasn't down in the wash, but he talked with Cliven and his wife about their fight with the BLM. Sure wish he would take John McCain's spot in the Senate.
Damn. I really liked him too...
