If the framers had left the second amendment out of the Bill of Rights, breaking the promise they made at the signing of the Constitution, I have to think George Mason would have led the young Republic into a civil war. Wisely, it was included into the Bill of Rights. Our generation needs to guard and fight for this right, against left-wing pieces of shit, like Beauchamp,or any other comers. No compromise; no surrender.
The Federalist who were part of the original framers of the Constitution said that we didn't actually need any Bill of Rights because the federal government had explicit limitations to its powers listed in the Constitution and the people had many more rights than were enumerated in the Constitution. So now I'm wondering today where would we be without a Bill of Rights and specifically a Second Amendment?
