Fitting end to the day.

Well, I'm back on the air at home, the old paperclip trick (I used a cotter pin) worked. Of course that was after I tripped over a landscape timber at Rosey's work and drove a nail into the palm of my right hand. Good thing I'm up to date on my tetanus shot. (I swear the ex-wife's voodoo doll's range must have been extended from a tactical to a strategic weapon.)

Dang, Mike! If it wasn't for bad luck, you wouldn't have any luck at all sometimes.

Soak that damaged hand in warm salt water once a day and keep it clean. Best wound healing regimen I know of, and I spent a lot of years as a wound care specialist. :)

Glad it worked.

Possibly someone forgot what it was for and gave it to the dogs to play with. Whoops! ;)

Maybe you can have someone make up a new voodoo doll and store it safely inside a crock of moonshine, it might help counter the effects. :O

Up to date tetanus shots is one of those easy to do things in case of SHTF. Grab one next time you're at the doctor for whatever, and if things go sideways, it's covered. If we just have SNAFU, and you step on a nail, it's one less thing to worry about. Sorry to hear about the bad juju. Exes can be witches at times. Yes, all of the time counts as 'at times'.
