NRA goes wobbly. Vote on Toad this week.
Senate may vote on ATF director this week
Todd Jones may get a vote this week in the U.S. Senate to be permanent director of the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
Politico is reporting the vote may finally happen. The National Rifle Association sounds like it is softening its opposition.
According to Politico's Reid Epstein, NRA spokesman Andrew Arulanandam said, “Our position will be made clear before the vote."
Which suggests there will be a vote. Which was not certain just a couple of weeks ago.
