Those of us who pay our taxes and/or own our businesses in order to eke out a living are outnumbered by those who do neither. It’s just a matter of time before the whole system fails. The manipulative will continue to convince the weak and the defective to vote for a larger paycheck, always at somebody else’s expense. I look at Detroit and, and with very few exceptions, believe that’s where the whole U.S. is going to end up. The government’s facilitators and their enforcers will ensure no one is spared and everyone’s prosperity, liberty and, ultimately, their life is going to be taken from them to feed the .gov goblins.
A goblin is anyone, uniformed or not, who works to deprive the constitutionally law abiding of their property, their liberty and their life. Whoever uses government to abuse their political enemies have become outlaws and they surrender all their constitutionally protected rights by doing so. If the special people consider us to be their enemy then we should start believing them.
Vengeance is only for God, but he does provide us many tools to right many wrongs.
You may have grounds for a lawsuit. Without going into a long dissertation. BCBS and you have a "contract of adhesion" (you have no input into the terms and conditions). They should not be able to change it while its in force but it's not black and white and there could be "outs" but at 42K a year you might want to consult an attorney ( I am not one) you may have a cause of action.
I don't think they get the difference between top down (OFA) and bottom up (TeaParty).
Centralized management of a population is never going to perform as efficiently as enlightened self interest.
In the top down case a relatively small number of outsiders who care about an issue are trying to motivate a larger number of locals to do something about it.
In the bottom up case a relatively large number of locals that care about an issue are trying to motivate a smaller number of locals to do something about it.
Add the nature of a significant number of folks in each base - self sufficient go getters trying to succeed, vs dependent entitlests trying to get more handouts.
Yes they tried the Coffee Party once before. The collectivists are trapped into trying the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
Albert Einstein was right on the definition of insanity.

I know which side I want to be on.
Haven't they tried that before? Anyone remember the "Coffee Party"?
