Every black cloud has a silver lining: Detroit is moving toward anarchy. Karen Decoster is the go-to gal for this movement:

That blog of hers has lots of interesting off-the-mainstream-media stuff about Detroit.

The solution to their crime problem is also anarchist: Everyone should carry a gun. Any cop who proposes to arrest a person for carrying a gun deserves to be shot. (Anyway they soon won't have money to pay cops so that problem may pretty much go away.)

Oh, for those who say things like, "Anarchy can't work," why not get an actual proof of that? Let anarchists have Detroit. Of course the last thing the ruling class wants is a proof that they are not needed.

Yeah, this comes up every so often. Detroit, Flint, and the Detroit suburbs have been going down the drain since the 70s and 80s.

Then someone mentions the population of Detroit is over 80% black and people lose interest real real fast.

Or that the razed neighborhoods might be converted to another metro park, or that they're doing architectural deconstruction on the better houses guts.

Otherwise, the abandoned houses are simply breeding grounds for rats and other vermin. They become crack houses, meth labs, or places to unload drums of toxic waste, junk, etc.

What else you gonna do with em? Force ex-cons from across the nation to live there as part of their debt to society? They'd say that was inhumane after the first winter. :D

Any reasonably healthy dog can support a few parasites. But when the parasite load reaches a certain level, the dog's health suffers. If corrective action is not taken, one possible outcome is the death of the dog.

Why does the Left imagine a city's economy would be any different?
