NYC Sanitation Workers Conspire to Kill Citizens by Inaction.

The shape of things to come.

Selfish Sanitation Department bosses from the snow-slammed outer boroughs ordered their drivers to snarl the blizzard cleanup to protest budget cuts -- a disastrous move that turned streets into a minefield for emergency-services vehicles, The Post has learned.

Miles of roads stretching from as north as Whitestone, Queens, to the south shore of Staten Island still remained treacherously unplowed last night because of the shameless job action, several sources and a city lawmaker said, which was over a raft of demotions, attrition and budget cuts.

"They sent a message to the rest of the city that these particular labor issues are more important," said City Councilman Dan Halloran (R-Queens), who was visited yesterday by a group of guilt-ridden sanitation workers who confessed the shameless plot.

Fire these sluggards and bring in the National Guard! Look what Reagan did with the Air Traffic Controllers. Public employees are the new Mandarin class that must be brought down to size.
there is no such thing as a free lunch, even in the leftist septic tank of NYC.

I dunno. I kinda think the people ought to start taking care of their own needs and stop looking to their government to do it.

Ought to fire the lot of them. Course the mob boss who owns that union might be a tad upset but the people of NY would be happy.

"the result of growing hostility between the mayor and the workers responsible for clearing the snow."

I wonder how many of them voted that Bloomberg bastard in, multiple times. I hope he runs out of friends real soon.
The citizens shouldn't suffer because ot this. Let them stop clearing snow and picking up trash around City Hall and Gracie Mansion. Wall him in.
Another sign of corruption and a collapsing economy, when cities cut essential services. They should send out drug and gun cops with shovels.

If the union mob boss is not prosecuted for murder a vigilante solution becomes more likely.

The guilt ridden workers should be forgiven.

I wish I could afford a trip to N.Y. but I would most likely not stay this angry through the whole trip.

I still want to inflict full retaliation though! Union trash!

Let us hope the families sue this union out of existence and take the union members retirement, health benefits, and a portion of their future income!

BEHOLD THE POWER OF THE MIGHTY COMMUNISTIC UNIONS. YOUR NEW UNELECTED BOSSES!

Too bad bigmouth blithering idiot Bloomberg (himself a progressive socialist) doesn't have the balls to fire the lot of them, top to bottom, and start over - (as others have pointed out) as Reagan did.

I'm surprised any of them actually admitted to it.

Unions are the same the whole world over. In 1942, the Australian dockworker's union refused to load American warships for the invasion of Guadalcanal unless their union rules were strictly observed, even though the Japs were coming, the Aussie army was in North Africa, and Americans were the only force standing between the Aussies and the Japs. We Americans ignored them, commandeered their equipment, and loaded the ships ourselves. That union has never forgiven us to this day.

Too bad we can't disband unions and imprison the thugs that do this kind of thing.

It is nothing more than a new generation of lazy workers. The old timers are retiring and these newbies are worthless lazy do nothings that want everything handed to them. They want less to do and more pay. Another true example of this is in my job. New breed of lazy police officers in the State. I happen to be an "old timer". 34 years and still going. These new guys and I mean many of them, want to do less and want more benefits and higher pay. Shit, I got a sanitation fella as my neighbor that cannot even shovel his front doorstep. Do I expect him to do a good job in the streets of NYC!!!
