Being prepared and willing to fight might be enough, if the OpFor recognizes that it's not a zero-sum game with a quick & certain outcome. Convincing the leaders is a difficult task, requiring them to get timely accurate information past the Command Staff filters.

Based on preliminary findings, last Tuesday's voter turnout was a midterm election record.
"Dr. Michael McDonald, who tracks election turnout at George Mason University, projects that a record-breaking 90 million people will cast ballots for 2010 candidates, the largest number of voters to date in a midterm election.
"The current midterm record was set in 2006, when 86 million voters went to the polls."
This record midterm turnout produced 680 new Republican seats for state legislatures.
"While the Republican gains in the House and Senate are grabbing the most headlines, the most significant results on Tuesday came in state legislatures where Republicans wiped the floor with Democrats.
"Republicans picked up 680 seats in state legislatures, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures -- the most in the modern era. To put that number in perspective: In the 1994 GOP wave, Republicans picked up 472 seats. The previous record was in the post-Watergate election of 1974, when Democrats picked up 628 seats."
It seems the Obamunist freight train has run smack dab into the brick wall of resolute political resistance. :^)
Exit polling indicates 40% of voters view tea party candidates, such as US Senator-elect Rand Paul, favorably. Contrary to Nancy Pelosi's "Astroturf" assessment, tea party activists have a good ground game and are already getting organizing for 2012.
If the tea party can reach a 50% favorable rating, American politics may have reached a tipping point.
Verdict: A rebirth of the "American Revolution" remains a distinct possibility.
The fact remains that we have a bunch of American Marxists, trying to overthrow our way of life, and control our lives and our government, and that they did this with treachery and guile.
There was no fair contest of ideals and principles, nor an open debate because they could never win that way. Faced with facts, people generally do the right thing, and the left could never win that way. So they created a non-contest, contest which assured them of victory and left us only one way out.

Well, God is capable of many things. Turning this around without bloodshed is definitely one of them.
The founders fought to protect liberty and freedom and wrote the Articles of Confederation to assist the states in protecting them.
The Constitution, on the other hand, was written and intended, from the outset, to arrive exactly where we are today.

Right now, everything is "pre-ban".
Cheers.
