I will be riding up to DC with my good friend Pete from WRSA, who has this discussion below about mainstream and Threeper arrangements. I will say one thing. I know we talked about toy guns and empty holsters in some of the posts, but after due consideration I would like to discourage that. Both empty holsters and toy guns are rather gelded gestures. Now, if you want to bring a sign that says: "Don't make us have to come back here with our rifles," that's a fair warning.
See you there.

Mainstream Agenda for 9/12 Activities
This post at The Other McCain has details for mainstream events in Washington during the upcoming 9/10-13 events.
Activist IIIpers interested in spreading the message should consider working these rooms and events, lest the moderates (e.g., "I just feel that Obama's going a bit too far, too fast with his brand of American Socialism") and the Republican party apparatchiks (e.g., "How can we harness this energy to raise money for the Party and push our American Socialists-lite towards victory in 2010 and 2012?") claim ignorance of a large, armed swath of Americans who adamantly proclaim:
We will not disarm.
You cannot convince us.
You cannot intimidate us.
You can try to kill us, if you think you can.
But remember, we'll shoot back.
And we are not going away.
Your move.
Initial rally point for our folks for Friday morning will be the SW corner of K and 16th Streets, just east of Farragut Square. There's a Burger King and a Starbucks located on the south side of K Street, either of which will serve nicely as a place to meet and greet. We'll be there by 9 am on Friday, and 8 am on Saturday.
The march on Saturday begins at 1130 am from Freedom Plaza, located at 14th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. That's about two blocks east and seven blocks south of our rally point at K and 16th Streets.
Current weather calls for possible thunderstorms and highs in the eighties, so remember your hats, sunscreen, fluids (including electrolytes), and comfortable socks/boots. It might also be a good idea to bring your FRS/GMRS radios (plus spare batteries).
We'll have one more post with IIIper march details on Thursday.
Hope to see you there.
