I wonder what this was really about?

The one-star general in charge of Special Operations Command South was removed from command last year and retired at the rank of colonel, the Army said in a statement Thursday. Brig. Gen. Sean Mulholland was removed from command by Adm. William McRaven; Mulholland retired May 1 in the lower grade of colonel after an Army Grade Determination Review Board, according to the Army statement.

Either he had sex with enlisted personnel or he stuck up for the Constitution, take your pick.

My guess would be that the Obama military has purged another warrior from their ranks. The same thing happened to an acquaintance of mine who was a Marine Corps officer. He's now retired, too.

This will free up space for a kindler, gentler LGBTQI military. Obama's fundamental transformation of America is unfolding before our very eyes.

Fundamentally transforming the country. He said back in 08 he was going to do it and the idiots that voted for him heard what he said, they just didn't understand. This country doesn't need to be transformed, It just needs to get people in office that believe that the oath means what it says. It may be too late. Sometimes I weep for what our country and military have become. It's not the same military I served in back in the 70's.

Dude couldn't hold his liquor that's what happened to him. They gave him every chance but he just couldn't get with the program.

Quite the contrary, "Dude" could hold his liquor, In 2002 I worked for him in Bosnia. He was probable showing some slack-jawed, golf-shirt wearing metro-sexual Communist the moves he used that helped him hunt narco-terrorists in south america in the 80s. COL Mulholland is a red-blooded American and despite having a touch of PTSD and enjoying his libations, he did not in fact deserve this. Mulholland is a Patton of our age, someone we actually need more of in our military today.
