Army Briefing Labels Tea Party, Christians as Terror Threats
Well, I guess we know how they feel about Oath Keepers then, don't we?
Soldiers attending a pre-deployment briefing at Fort Hood say they were told that evangelical Christians and members of the Tea Party were a threat to the nation and that any soldier donating to those groups would be subjected to punishment under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
A soldier who attended the Oct. 17th briefing told me the counter-intelligence agent in charge of the meeting spent nearly a half hour discussing how evangelical Christians and groups like the American Family Association were “tearing the country apart.”

Yes this worrisome incident has been discussed here: http://www.theakforum.net/forums/14-general-discussion/165504-feds-say-possession-large-amounts-weapons-may-indicate-terrorist-activity.html
Please note the responses by cms81586 for the insider view on this attempt to prejudice and wrongly influence young military minds and turn them against their strongest supporters!
"Counter intelligence agent". Hmmmm...I wonder if that translates to appointed, obamanation indoctrinator? Or more simply, liberal minion? (Picture a screeching, yellow, one-eyed character with a goggle from 'Despicable Me' surrounded by a bunch of obedient soldiers with one eyebrow raised).
I have read the original document on this. This information is factual.
We have some sick puppies in ALL agencies, including DoD. We are being destroyed from with-in. No matter. The time for talking is over anyway. The divide is too great to bridge with words.
In the days after Lexington, veterans of the French and Indian wars examined their loyalties. Many of them gravitated toward one side in the coming struggle or the other while some sat it out.
In the days after Ft. Sumter the United States Army split in a similar fashion, some joining the Confederacy, some staying loyal to the north, and some seizing the opportunity to go home and wait it out.
So it should come as no surprise that there are statists among our current military who see not just current "threepers" as a threat, but also cast men like Sam Adams and John Parker as terrorists and dangerous radicals. They are also aware of historical parallels and wish to keep as many of their personel in place if/when TSHTF.
This appears to be a recurring theme. The Puritan leaders of the Plymouth Colony were aghast that an Anglican was celebrating May Day (basically, a May Pole and Morris Dancers) in what is today's Quincy, Massachusetts. They dispatched an armed band led by Captain Miles Standish to break up the party and disperse the pagans. Ironically, President John Adams had acquired the same land when he married Abigail Smith, daughter of a minister.
