There are 5 trend states in our nation . They are California , Washington, Colorado , Florida , Arizona . Trends that start in those states will quickly spread to others . I was so pleased to see the Seattle Gun Show was started in Washington State ( Huge trend State) . The Los Angeles Gun Buy back program looked totally staged. Who trades a $2000 M4 for a $200 grocery gift card?

"...the Seattle Police department claims that they will check the buyback guns to see if any were previously stolen and, if so, try to return them to the rightful owners!"

Trust me, the check's in the mail...the US Post Office is a glowing example of business efficiency...Obama has the best interests of America at heart...etc., etc., etc.....

Outstanding! I might have to get some friends together and do this the next time there's a buyback in our AO.

The first casualty of war is the truth, as the old adage goes. The propaganda from the left has just begun.

Some time ago, I left a few nasty posts aimed at Mike V. and a few other posters here over a disagreement about the NRA. I still support the NRA - for now. But historically Mike was - and is - right about the the NRA's less than consistent defense of the 2nd Amendment.

I was wrong - and I offer my apologies to you Mike, and the other posters here I insulted.

Is there anyway I can get updated calendar dates of where and when these "buy back" programs will be held?

Im sure there are good deals to be made and Im not afraid to pay what they are worth..
Im not going to stiff people like the LEO's will.. 50 bucks for a 500$ pistol or more is highway robbery, these cops should be in jail for stealing

Free market capitalism will ALWAYS find a way around statist regulations and rules.

I had to laugh at that whiny po-po chief when he "admitted it’s perfectly legal for private individuals to buy and sell guns, FOR NOW. Mayor Mike McGinn said at a news conference the private transactions are a loophole that needs to be closed."

Shall I call a waaaahhm-bulance for the po' po-po chief & Hizzonor??
Bwhahahahahahaha . . . . .

Not to be overly simplistic, or, you know, moral/lawful/libertarian or anything..........

but, fuck them all and the masquerade of legitimacy they snuck in on.

Like it or not, folks, the NRA is the big dog on the block. I support other organizations, but pressure needs to be put on the NRA. We had a overthrow of officials several years back because of disgruntled members. It can be done again, and maybe NEEDS to be done again. Just saying.

On the local NBC affiliate that night, a guy, looked to be in his early 60's, turned in what he said had been his grandfather's guns. Looked like a Single Action Army in a cowboy rig. Damn. He may have been holding a rifle too. Damn. Even my anti-gun wife thought that was stupid.
