A big gun deserves a big flag. :)

The 800 lb gorilla in the room is the obvious fact that the government does NOT want us to revert to our hunting weapons.

That makes their life expectancy even shorter.

Personally, I don't need an assault weapon.

But I damn sure know how to harvest one.

The question is not:'Come and Take it' but can it get close enough to stop you!

Answer: About 2 miles is close enough ...

For over a year,I have been putting off upgrading a deer rifle to a sniper rifle. The one I have in mind is the same platform used by snipers in Viet-Nam. After reading about the Army's (and other agencies) drill in and over Houston, I have to get off the dime. The Army's reluctance to tell the people of Houston what the drill was all about, spoke volumes. They mean to have a domestic war. I mean to make it expensive.

The Remington 700 in .243, .308 , 300 WM, or just plain 30-06 works extremely well. The ADL or BDL can be had with 24" barrels and optocs of your choice.
The 700 SPS in .243 with Millet optic can be had for $750 with a little looking. Paint finish is your choice.
Talk about "reaching out to touch someone", 800m without difficulty.

Small rockets with supple strong steel cable and a small weight attached to the far end of the cable be very good testing mechinism for helecopter rotors especially when launched in a barrage.

Make sure the rocket is capable of lifting 200 feet of cable and just get close and let the rotor do the work.... bolos

Low tech rules.....
