Two more reasons why Newt Gingrich shouldn't be president.

1. His wife's hair looks like it could slash people's faces in a crowded room and,

2. Is it just me, or does she always look like she's going to bite someone?

My you are up late or early, couldn't sleep? Me too, legs really jumping tonight. almost the same problems you have, diabetes and PAD. I agree with your assessment, her hair looks killer! Why is even the 'newt running anyway, hasn't he taken the hint we don't want him or is he in for the money he makes on campaigns?

She will get the crumbs and occasional morsel because the Lizard will eat nearly all.

I'm beginning to see why Newt is attracted to her. He is half-shark and she looks like a piranha.

The fate of our country is far more important than her hair. Newt is the smartest man running right now. Granted he is a politician, and they get donations to run their campaign, but they all do, even Ron Paul. Given a choice between Obama or Newt, are you going to stay home because Ron Paul isn't a choice? Get real.

While in a hospital receiving cancer treatment he served his wife divorce papers. If it was for her then I think she may be a succubus.

@ Rick : Yeah, I will stay home if it is a choice between Newt and O. I held my nose in 2008 and won't do it again.

Rick: I also won't be holding my nose ever again.... the nose bleeds aren't worth it...

Is it just me? or does she look like a guy in drag?

I probably won't stay home. There is such a thing as a write-in ballot, after all.

Wow..what the hell is that thing?

The story about the divorce papers may be a complete fabrication. At least one Gingrich family member who should be in the know said recently that it never happened. "Neutron Newt" has certainly run up his share of political enemies, many of which have no moral scruples whatsoever. I could not bring myself to vote for a man so callous, but what if it isn't true? We need to do some checking.

Dutchman6 mentioned two rules of intellegence gathering to which I will add a third.

Who is this person?

Why is he telling me this?

Why is he telling me this now?

Have you noticed the quantity of "dirt" brought up about candidate X is directly proportional to their standing in the poll-of-the-week?

From Wikipedia... for whatever that's worth:

In 1984, Battley told the Washington Post that the divorce was a "complete surprise" to her. According to Battley, in September 1980, Gingrich and their children visited her while she was in the hospital, recovering from surgery, and Gingrich wanted to discuss the terms of their divorce.[119] Gingrich has disputed that account.[92] In 2011, their daughter, Jackie Gingrich Cushman, said that it was her mother who requested the divorce, that it happened prior to the hospital stay (which was for the removal of a benign tumor, not cancer), and that Gingrich's visit was for the purpose of bringing the couple's children to see their mother, not to discuss the divorce.[120]

Like all mortals, Gingrich has his "imperfections". Being a serial adulterer being only one example in his case. But America has had many examples of White House residents who had trouble keeping their pants zipped, some of whom were outstanding Presidents.

But the question remains one I asked a co-worker who was going to vote for Slick Willie for the second time: "If you can't trust him to keep his marriage vows, how can you trust him to keep the oath of office?"

Newt is probably the most qualified of the current GOP candidtates for 2012. But I cannot in good concience vote for him.

The whole "wife dying in the hospital divorce" BS is just that-BS.

When are you people going to get the fact that the left will say and do anything to keep the people that scare them out of office?

Herman Cain?
Newt?
George Allen?
Barry Goldwater?

Don't let the media pick your nominee.

Something that happened in Newt's marriage 30-odd years ago is at best irrelevant to his qualifications to be president. Newt is my man and he is getting my vote in the primary! Let us not forget that the ONLY thing important about voting in the primary is to nominate a republican who can beat Obama in the general election. We don't have to agree with the candidate's position on everything or applaud everything from his past.

Everyone who is all in favor of the NWO should vote for Newt (or Mitt, or Perry) in thr primary. Newt is, after all, a full-fledged member of the CFR.I would rather write in the name of my dead grandmother than vote for any of the three OR the obomination.

Shame on you, Dutchman6. You picked the most un-flattering photo you could find of her, then you made a couple of snarky personal attacks.

The main-stream media has done this several times, but I expect that kind of childish behaviour from them. FROM YOU, I expect better. If you want to attack Newt or Callista on the issues, you have that prerogative. Keep your childish remarks to your self.

I do not plan on voting FOR Newt but I absolutely will VOTE AGAINST OBAMA even if Obama's opponent is a 3 legged dog named TRIPOD.
TRIPOD FOR PRESIDENT!!!
