This isn't a "policy change", it's a "policy formalization": Shooters have been restricted from nearly all shooting lanes in the forests East of Estacada Oregon (good multi-use area for Scouts to do woodcraft, etc), even those with good backstops, and especially those over about 80 yards long. The reason given was people being hurt, but there were no reports of people being hurt. This is another small incremental forward step of the Leviathan over the people.

US Forest Rangers and work crews seem a little apprehensive when we come near them now.... us waving and asking if they have had lunch yet. What are they being told about folks in the woods? We are there ready to render aid and help do anything, but we don't have to be so visible or helpful.

Well, maybe if we compromise just one more time, you know, showing good will, then they'll leave us alone. Yeah, that is just the ticket!
Ahhhh..... There is soooo much to hate about these people, from the puke president on down.

Not really interested in being pushed any further.
@DeaconMatson: "Not really interested in being pushed any further."
Then the Feds have some unfortunate news for you.
