That paragon of moral virtue, Jesse Jackson, writes "Lesson of White House strafing: Limit guns now."

I was once asked by a citizen disarmament advocate, a follower of the Bradys, what I thought about more firearm restrictions. I began to answer when he impatiently broke in, "Give me the short answer." I replied, "Okay. . . If you try to take our firearms we will kill you." All the fellow could do was stare at me in disbelief. This is the restated meaning of "shall not be infringed." Some people, however, have to have it translated for them. -- Mike Vanderboegh.

And I always thought "strafing" required an airplane. Who knew?

As David Codrea writes: Jesse Jackson Proposes New Civil War. Yes, either he hasn't thought the unintended consequences of his proposal through or Jesse is seemingly willing to kill millions of those of us who would resist such tyranny.

Well, under Bill Clinton's 1999 Serbian Rules of Engagement, at least he'd probably get what he deserved for proposing such a bloody conflict in the first place -- if not a precision guided munition through the window like Serbian Television, then at least an American version of "Rule .303". Personally, if I lived through such a ghastly future as Jesse longs for, which I don't expect to, I would prefer that he get a rope at the end of an exquisitely fair war crimes tribunal, like Julius Streicher.

Nazi propagandist Julius Streicher demonstrates the perils of collectivist propaganda, although by this point he was past caring and beyond further pontificating.

Unfortunately, poor Jesse is risking the sentiment expressed in a hand-lettered sign on an intelligence office wall in Iraq:

"Proper target information means never having to say you're sorry."

Wait for it . . . Wait for it . . . The next Media Matters excremental spasm is coming just about . . . NOW.

I LOVE jerking those jerks' chain.

Be careful what you wish for, for you may get it.

There is a drone like, recurring, terribly consistent truth among the left in America.
The left never fails to point their finger at all outside their special club. Accusing and claiming, attaching to all who do not genuflect and submit to their superior being, things militant, violent, extreme, of a conspiratorial or racist manner. Things that in every instance it is they themselves who are unquestionably guilty of perpetrating and advancing these very same radical things.
It is unique that their targets, in the sanitizing light of the truth when it gets past the MSM gate keepers, their targets are never guilty of these smears and accusations.
Funny how that works out every time.
If you wish for something long enough, go to extremes to create a false narrative of it, well it will eventually by the very nature of the law of unintended, or maybe that is intended consequences with the left, bite you right on the ass.
Simple truth is, you can only fuck with people so long before it catches up with you.

Not that Jesse is aware of it, but the term "strafe", or “strafing” was used to describe all forms of incoming fire during at least the early period of WWI, 1914-16 certainly. See “A Yankee in the Trenches” R. Derby Holmes, Boston, Little, Brown & Co., 1918. It’s origin is from the German word of the same spelling which simply means “punish”.

It appears at the very last line, Jesse Jackson is linking assault weapons with the murder of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Dr. King was shot with a Remington Model 760, a pump-action centerfire rifle. A hunting gun.

The exact same class of weapon that is in a whole lot of closets across America. The same class of weapon that a million hunters take to the field with every year and shoot a target up to a couple of hundred yards away.

Reflect on that, Jesse Jackson.

To stereotype, the left is a obstensively peaceable, but intolerant, impatient adult sized child. What else can you expect-and I tried to reason with a few of them but... they warped.

"Rule 303"

Possibly the best quote in movie history, along with

"Shoot straight! Don't make a mess of it, you bastards!"

Our household has multiple rules in place to deal with any skullduggery.
For the bedroom/living room there is the choice of Rule 45 or Rule 12 - Rule 454 may apply depending on the weather. For yard work, Directive 3006, 762, and 223 apply. Contingency 338 is available for more difficult to solve problems.

"Under a federal assault weapons ban from 1994 to 2004, there was a 60 percent drop in assault-weapon deaths"

Where is he sourcing this from? (besides pulling it out of his ass)

Dang it Mike, you beat me to the punch on posting about 'Serbian ROE'. (Actually the word image you have to type in for verification, more often than not, is a nice little red X).

Molon Labe, Jessie. Don't send someone else. Come on back home to Greenville, SC and try it yourself. I guess if there were no guns Hambone would still be alive and you step brother Noah Robinson wouldn't be in jail. Next time you come back Greenville leave your hoe in Chicago and bring your wife. I guess with your family it is father like son. Both of you are lying, cheating hypocrites. Rev. Jackson my ass.

I would agree with the poster who suggested that this was a 'false flag' event. This guy was a moron who didn't have the brains to wipe his ass, yet he got close enough to the White House with an AK-47 to put many rounds into the structure. Ak's aren't exactly quiet little guns, and someone who fires 5-10 rounds from one within striking distance of the White House will be noticed.

The White House is guarded by snipers and other SS staff. You can bet that Obama is very well-protected, as he is a very high target. There is probably shot-tracing hardware installed all over the place, so if the guy fired one round, they'd know where it came from and how far away it was before the 2nd round was sent downrange. And as the government is spending billions on security, the technology would have caught this guy before he set off round 3.

Then he gets away and travels halfway across the nation before he is finally caught? I'm not believing one iota of this scam. Fast & Furious is failing majestically, and so we need a new gun freak incident to raise the alarm. "Crazy guy sprays White House with dangerous assault rifle!" Neat, eh?

I found the recent knife-up-Gaddafi's-ass-before-he-died video a poignant reminder of the wages of tyranny.
Ever used one of those "Butt-Out" tools while dressing a deer?

I like Rule .300 magnus, Weatherby subsection.
As the "business end" is still supersonic at 1000 yards.
It's a "dynamic range" thing. Jesse would not understand.
