Best video I jave seen in a long time...Friggin Russians crack me up. The "dont try this at home I am a professional Russian" in conjunction with his.accent...love it.
Alas, those are only sold to "The Only Ones" and armed forces. So far as I can determine there is not even a semi-auto version. THAT would be nice to have for personal defense.
You should watch one of the other videos ("Firing The AA-12") that comes up after the end of this one. Watch it here: http://tinyurl.com/AA-12-Fire They have a little 99lb 5' tall model loading the mags and firing the AA-12. Clearly there is SOME recoil but the tiny model (same size as my daughter) handles it well.
They have mounted these things on tracked robots (how'd you like to have THAT on point assaulting a fixed position?) and even on a UAV helo. Gotta figure loyalist forces will have access to toys like that. Need to be figuring out ways to counter them.
He must have that new invisible hearing protection and the armored contact lenses...
He's a "Professional Russian", soon to be dead or old and deaf shouting orders to his black leather jacketed minions. Hearing loss doesn't hurt, and only wimps need protection while behind an automatic shotgun.
AA-12 would be a perfect pirate-swatter from the deck of a sail boat. Non-magnetic stainless steel is very nice.
These days the cost of a tromix'd saiga 12 is about the same as a firrgin benelli...and the benelli is a much nicer gun for the money. Not that I don't want a saiga badly...just not for benelli prices.

You cant get an AA12 but you can get a Saiga 12 for a lot less money and make do very well.
