Former Congressman On Obama’s Gun Action: ‘It’s War. Defy’ Him
Former Congressman Joe Walsh tweeted on Thursday, “On Monday, Obama, on his own, to go after guns. It’s war. Defy his executive actions. Time for Civil disobedience.
I don't have such a feeling. Progressives and the left are self destructing. It is up to us to make certain they do not take the American Republic and Western Civilization with them. That's a difficult task, but people are waking up, and I am more upbeat today than I was one year ago. We should make the most of the opportunities we have and move ahead in confidence, trusting in Providence.
Don't jinx us so quick, Mike. Maybe we'll get lucky and pull a rabbit out of the hat, though I realize that's not the way to bet... Have a better New Year's, my friend. Take care about f yourself.
It's like a leaky rear main seal. Put in some stop leak and it works for a while and then it just leaks again. Switch to a different oil, same thing. My dad used to say "a leak never gets any better...ya gotta fix it sooner or later."
My lazy gun This was sent to me, i do not know the author, but it is too good not to post. Today I Placed my .357 revolver on the table right next to my front door. I left 6 cartridges beside it, then left it alone and went about my business. >> >> While I was gone, the mailman delivered my mail, the neighbor's son across the street mowed the yard, a girl walked her dog down the street, and quite a few cars stopped at the "stop" sign near the front of my house. >> >> After about an hour, I checked on the gun. It was quietly sitting there, right where I had left it. It had not moved itself outside. It had not killed anyone. Certainly, even with the numerous opportunities it had presented to do that. In fact, it had not even loaded itself. >> >> Well you can imagine my surprise, with all the hype by the left and the media about how dangerous guns are and how they kill people. Either the media is wrong or I'm in possession of the laziest gun in the world. >> >> The United States is 3rd in Murders Throughout The World. But if you take out just 5 'left-wing' cities: Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC, St Louis and New Orleans -- the United States is 4th from the bottom, in the ENTIRE World, for Murders. >> >> These 5 Cities are controlled by Democrats. They also have The Toughest Gun Control Laws in the USA. >> >> It would be absurd to draw any conclusions from this data, right? >> >> Well, I'm off to check on my spoons. I hear they're making people fat.
"Charles N. Steele" Yes. They are on the road to self destruction, but not before they do a lot more damage. If we ever get them on the ground, we need to stomp the life out of them so they can't ever come back and try this again.
If we can avoid WW3, it will be a good year. With Republican "control" of the Congress no meaningful gun laws will be passed. Even Barry's EOs may be challenged. The economy will limp along as we move back into another recession.
ONe way to prevent disaster is to get out and vote for the Republican, no matter who he/she is in November. Get out and vote against the Democrat nominee in November!
Greybeard, if we are to learn anything from past elections, we have to remember all the "Republican" candidates who have promised us a gold mine and given us the shaft. I will probably vote for the Republican candidate but I don't really believe any great change will come from him/her/it in my lifetime - unless it's even worse government. More and more I think we're not going to vote our way out of this mess.
Good grief! Do y'all still think that the republicans are gonna save us?? They are all politicians & will screw us all if they get a chance. No man can stop what is going to happen in this country. Get ready.
The disaster is already in progress. What's the phrase? "You will know your masters by who you are not allowed to criticize."
People think voting for one president over another actually means something.
The issue is Congress. It's so important that, with 460+ seats coming up for election, the establishment has done everything it can to focus on anything else. The establishment wants us to think we're electing The Best King, and wants all of our attention on that.
Congress is, without question, the most powerful branch. It can unilaterally defund *anything*.
If people start teaching that government powers are delegations of individual rights, and if I do not have a right to do something, it cannot be delegated as a power, or made into a law - if people realize that, and hold their congressmen to that standard - we'll start seeing the Fed (and States) get reined in. Get your local Sheriff to understand that foundational premise as well, and your county will get its sovereignty back. Get your counties in a row, and your State has no choice but to obey, and assert its rightful sovereignty as well.

First we are going to have to elect some congress critters with some balls. Good luck with that. The first thing they need to do is get rid of that fucking RINO that was Obama's pick for speaker, Paul Ryan. Maybe they can primary his ass out. The problem is with the voters. "My congressman is wonderful and all the rest are assholes." That's why we have career politicians.

Wait till Barry pardons KSM, Zubayda and some others, closes gitmo and gives it back to Cuba. Then the real fun can start.
Agreed....
Be prepared for the onslaught by the political class coupled with UN intervention

Always look on the bright side ...
Hillary is elected the first 'woman' President
and on the podium during her acceptance speach
... is struck down - by lightening!
Burns for eternity.

2016...Ginsburg retires. Holder is nominated. Republican Congress confirms him. 2nd Amendment is assaulted by SCOTUS.
