The New York Times, which previously proposed civil war to facilitate arms confiscation, now whines that the GOP refuses to seriously discuss our unilateral disarmament.

"An Appalling Silence on Gun Control."

It seems to me they are confused-

No! Your Move.

It's not our turn to talk or act, so the silence they hear is their own.

"that would displease the gun industry and its political lobby."

They just don't get it. "It's We the People" , Gun Owners and Constitutional Supporters.
The "Industry" and "lobby" are such a small part.

They refuse to Acknowledge us!

We are the Industry and the Lobby...Gun Owners and Constitutional Supporters.
We, The People!!

Give Ryan time. He's got to surrender on everything else first. Then the GOPe can assent to disarmament.

Gov. Malloy threatens to act immediately on his/Obama's latest criminal collective over reach of confiscation. Watch how many law abiding gun owners end up on that No fly/No buy list. Well folks the frog is just about cooked. Any one for a taste. But I warn you tyranny will leave a bad taste in you're mouth. Dead man walking. Behind enemy lines Ct.

They should be happy about the silence. Any other noise will not be welcome.

Dumb question to collectivists...Why would we even entertain the thought of negotiating away our God given, fundamental rights? There is no "conversation" to be had, period!

Huh. Comments are closed on the original article. Shocked.

And an appalling silence when it comes to commons sense, decency, and logic, for the NY Times. And still touting that 33,000 violent gun deaths a year stuff, when they know 2/3 are suicides. For their perusal, a suicide by gun kills exactly one person, followed immediately by that person never killing anyone again, unlike the serial killers released by DHS, and various bleeding heart courts in lefto land.

The NYT should be thankful for that silence on gun control.
Otherwise the next sound they hear may be actual gunshots.

Funny isn't it, they don't tell you the weapons were obtained through a straw buyer.

So lets advocate suspending the first amendment rights of these commie leftist assholes. After all they are fomenting rebellion in America and there ought to be "reasonable regulations" against doing that!

These people are evil, the only opinions they care about are those that agree with them, they absolutely cannot stand disagreement. And by the same token the only constitutional rights they care about are the particular ones that are important to them, the rest of the rights can be disposed of as far as they are concerned. This rag and it's leftist shills should be buried forever in one of those famed Jersey landfills!
