If these "trust fund" kids are so proud of their beliefs, then why do they always cover their faces?..And in typical mindless/collectivist fashion, the shooter couldn't hit the broad side of a barn..I wonder if he had all the battery operated doo-dads on his rifle? LOL . Funny, when i'm at the range I hear guys near me whispering " She's shooting with iron sights!" Molon Labe...
In today's world of IRS retribution on Tea Party groups, of economic Wacos from ATF, of MIAC reports targeting anyone who asserts a belief in Christianity, the founders or smaller government....and most especially of a government with facial recognition software and a massive surveillance state, only a fool would protest without covering their faces.
Ya, the .gov can still figure out who you are, but why make it easy for them?
If you genuinely believe that your right of free speech isn't being monitored and a file built on you once they peg you as a potential problem, you're woefully naive.
Nothing wrong with openly fighting against tyranny.....and having that file on you grow; just ask Mike....but there will also be a need for grey men in the fight that's coming. The more faceless you are in that instance, the better.
What I'm saying is: don't condemn simply because someone seeks anonymity from the prying eyes of over-reaching government.
Anon@10:26 AM ...Because that's what criminals do. Breaking your door down at 3 am is a criminal act no matter how you slice it. My face can no longer be covered as it has appeared in you-tube vids and local newspaper articles where the People have stood up to tyrants in local Gov't. So I'm screwed..And yes, we will need those "grey men" to carry on the fight; and i pray they have the stomach for it
Modern US/State/Local Government agents are not ONE SINGLE Americans friend. They ARE "the collectivists. Statist PIGS increasing their power as every day goes by. It makes me sick that so called "conservatives" are rushing to defend anyone in LE. Fox News whores itself out to the NYPD UNIONS trying to glorify the thugs that "protect" that city.
"Because that's what criminals do. Breaking your door down at 3 am..."
There are two possible reasons for doing so: 1) avoiding government retaliation, and 2) committing a crime. Note that in this case, the protesters are using the first reason, while cops use the second.
Some people have a fantasy that a long-delayed revolution can be accomplished without the ugly bits. Good luck on that...
Keep in mind also that that sign and protest may be a production of the Ministry of Propaganda (probably is in my opinion - lefties tend to want to claim the peaceful end of the media spectrum). You are being manipulated...
For some of the Anonys, may I offer just one thought? There are indeed a lot of bad cops; there are many who abuse their authority and who do terrible things. There are also cops who are Oath Keepers, and many in the 'grey man' mode who are quiet about things but would quickly line up with the ;right side; if SHTF. But are we now to behave as the mass murderers of history, that is, shall we decide that anyone in a uniform is a target, even though they have not even been accused of anything at all? When we see two men who as far as we know, never did anything evil, assassinated as they sat in their car, or see people carrying signs calling for more dead cops, can we justify their actions and still claim any degree of virtue or morality? For this is the mindset of men like Pol Pot, who had anyone wearing glasses tortured and killed - no trial, no charges - because he felt that glasses signified intellectuals who read too much and would be obstacles to his reign. He had the toddlers of any resisters beaten until their skulls burst against a large tree ( which you can still see) if the parents were his perceived enemies because the children might grow up and want revenge for the deaths of their parents. is this the thought process that you would embrace? No one would be quicker than I, to call for justice against those who have done atrocious, despicable things under color of law. But I would also refrain until a man had at least been charged, and some evidence brought forth, before calling for his death. Simply murdering a man because he wears a police uniform is unacceptable. Our Founders did not murder every man they saw wearing the King's colors. They did engage in combat and they did kill many, but others were not harmed, some imprisoned for crimes, but no one was simply shot down because he wore the wrong color. Take heed lest you become that which you despise.
"...shall we decide that anyone in a uniform is a target, even though they have not even been accused of anything at all?"
Ideally, no. But such fine distinctions go by the wayside when a war is on.
Let me rephrase your question:
"...shall we decide that anyone in the Gestapo is a target, even though they have not even been accused of anything at all?"
At some point, associating with an organization will be enough - particularly when that organization routinely harms, beats and tortures people. Any good people who were originally there will have left.
By all means, let's put these people on trial, give them a fair shake, starting with the cop who killed Eric Garner.
Oops. Looks like "Only Ones" don't have to worry about such niceties. Oh, well. They made their bed; they can sleep in it.

Always afraid to show their faces - I'm torn on this one.
I don't hide my III% hat or my OK window sticker, or my face.
