As I watch Senators Cruz and Lee (3:13AM EST right now) I am reminded that, though it is clearly evident that the Congress is mostly infested with Republican and Democrat T R A I T O R S to the Bill of Rights and the Constitution, there is hope...
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." -Margaret Mead
The majority of so-called Americans-most of whom are in reality merely ameriKans-will meekly go along with whatever gov't dishes out, or be so consumed with food, drink and entertainment that they are blissfully ignorant of gov't activities...these pitiful examples will remain on the sidelines.
The time for the "small group of thoughtful, committed people" to actively take to the stage appears to be rapidly approaching...
Here is what I communicated to my congressional critters this morning as I continue to listen to Patriots Senators Cruz and Lee:
September 25, 2013
It is now 3:33AM EST and though sleepy I just cannot stop viewing the live C-SPAN feed of this fine effort by Senator Cruz, and those few brave souls that stand with him.
His comments as well as those of Senator Lee are accurately representative of the departure by all three branches of government from the limits upon government power contained in the Bill of rights and Constitution.
It should be remembered that those that actively participated in the founding of a nation dedicated to Liberty were a small minority.

It is my opinion that, over time, Liberty has been displaced by unaccountable government power, to the point that this country is a near-complete surveillance-police-state, such that the Bill of Rights and Constitution were advertised as bulwarks of prevention of that condition.
As with the original American revolutionaries, tyranny is not acceptable to a significant number of the citizenry.
That current governmental misbehavior is homegrown rather than imposed from abroad...matters not.
It is to be hoped that revolutionary means not become a necessity in the restoration of Liberty, and restoration of serious limits on government power that necessarily accompanies a condition of Liberty.
I pray that reform may be accomplished through the people's representatives. I pray for such because it truly appears that intervention from a higher power appears to be the only peaceful means of serious reform.
I am confident that you likely are aware of the growing anger and disgust at the current state of government affairs.
Many of us are weary of expectations that the Bill of Rights and Constitution actually form any meaningful obstacle to exercise of power by government.
The time may soon be that people seek advice from the Declaration of Independence.
The time may soon be that people seek advice from the Declaration of Independence.
That most important of American documents-with very minor alteration and adjustment-would serve perfectly to be presented to the United States Government, as nearly every complaint addressed to King George III happens to be applicable to our own government.
Here are some of the more obvious examples:
-He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance. (This one shouldn't require comment.)
-For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury. (Most of those ensnared in criminal and/or civil legal proceedings know that true Justice has all but disappeared from American courts. In the criminal justice system, trials have nearly disappeared, replaced by plea 'bargains' that are often coerced through torture, extortion, and threats of prosecution of friends and loved ones-I know this because exactly that happened to me...and many, many others.)
-For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences (Many of the 'crimes' invented by modern government would astonish the wisest of the Founders. Consensual crimes without victims carrying often unmerciful punishments meted out to the 99%, with treatment of similarly situated 1%ers more rarely being adjudicated in a like manner. This feeds the commercialized Prison Industrial Complex that houses the highest rate as well as raw numbers of prisoners on the entire planet. In America…land of Liberty. Witness the near-total lack of prosecutions of the multitudes of financial crimes of the Wall Street crowd that nearly wrecked the American economy, an economy that still has yet to recover, in spite of the massive infusions of Federal reserve funny-money.)
As with the King, repeated petitions for relief "have been answered only by repeated injury".
We know the results of the reckless disregard of our complaints by the British King.
The United States Government, for quite some time, has been equally dismissive of legitimate attempts for redress of grievances...
This is not-and should not be-tolerable...for much of a length of time...
At least to those of us that value precious Liberty.
Republicans have reaped much press vocalizing opposition to this looming government health care train-wreck. It is disappointing that so few are willing to walk the walk and stand with Senator Cruz.
It is a disgrace that the Republican leadership and Republican politicians in general appear ready to again cut a deal with the Democrats and "move on"...
"Move on" to what?
Larger, more intrusive government, apparently.
Some of us are seeing that the areas where the majority of Republicans and Democrats agree is far more critical and dangerous to precious American Liberty than the subjects of disagreement.
Sorry for the long-windedness, but sound-bites just fall too short, especially in these times that try men's souls.
Please provide your thoughts on these matters of great importance to the ongoing American experiment in Liberty.
