Definitely see a shed load of British influence in the way they march. It's there but stylized and exaggerated. In any case the locals sure seem to enjoy the show.
The whole thing looks a bit queer to me - certainly not military. I can understand that with the Indians, but homosexuality is illegal in Muslim Pakistan, likely under penalty of death (Sharia law). - Old Greybeard
Too Too funny. I've seen this before, but it's nice to be reminded in the sick sad world we inhabit. Do the Brits (outside of Monty Python)do anything even CLOSE to this for exaggeration?
Gawd, I'd love to have the closed venue for this and sell tickets. I'd make a fortune.
Toward the end, one of the Indian guys shakes hands with one of the Pakistani guys. The U.S.-Canada border doesn't close every day, but if it did, I think the ceremony would probably consist entirely of that handshake.

Thanks for the comic relief, Dutchman.
I think the ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns is much more dignified.
Looks like they're stomping roaches.
I am at a loss for words.............. The handshake was very cool.

mayeb someday we can see the Crips, M13 and the Bloods close the day marking their turf divisions in this quaint and colorful manner.
Frankly, if I could look, dress, and march like that, I would do it constantly!
Peacocks.
That's one hell of a show.
