Definitely see a shed load of British influence in the way they march. It's there but stylized and exaggerated. In any case the locals sure seem to enjoy the show.

Anonymous said...: The whole thing looks a bit queer to me - certainly not military. I can understand that with the Indians, but homosexuality is illegal in Muslim Pakistan, likely under penalty of death (Sharia law).

Toward the end, one of the Indian guys shakes hands with one of the Pakistani guys. The U.S.-Canada border doesn't close every day, but if it did, I think the ceremony would probably consist entirely of that handshake.; September 21, 2012 at 2:50 AM
