300 foot tall Son of Liberty breaks Dem congressman's window. Well, don't look at me, that's what THEY said. Q: Did he have a big blue ox with him?

Paul Bunyan, Son of Liberty, and his faithful ox, Babe.

My thanks to Irregular John R. for forwarding this and a link from Glenn Reynold's Instapundit site.

Dear Mike,

Someone must have told the Dems and their lackeys that if you are going to lie, lie big. They are accusing Three Percenters or some Window Warrior of breaking windows in the district office of Steve Driehaus (D.-Ohio). His office is on the 30th Floor of a skyscraper in Cincinnati! Damn, we are good!

Glenn Reynolds, the Instapundit, has a link to the story in the Seattle Times with a call for them to retract the story.

Thought you might like to read this.

The window-breaking was at the country dem HQ. Driehaus is worried about people protesting at his home this weekend. Please get the facts straight.

This is how YOU collectivist libtards are twisting the news to create 'sympathy'.

They are lying? OMG.

Half the "threats" they get are their own.

There's a story today in the Fort Wayne Journal-Gazette by Washington Post reporter Philip Rucker about Mr. Vanderboegh's recommendation to break the windows of Democrat offices.

If this is accurate, I think it's the wrong way to go about civil disobedience. I don't think vandalism qualifies as peaceful protest.

While I'm sympathetic with the outrage caused by the recent health care legislation, the lack of respect for property rights rings hypocritical to me.

Gee.

Another politician (Driehaus) learning that acts have consequences.

'Bout time.

The reporting error was the location, not that the incident didn't happen. The rock was thrown through the front window of the Hamilton County Democatic Headquarters, not Driehaus' office.

These stunts are vandalism, not civil disobedience. They are stupid and hurt the cause of people protesting bad legislation in Washington.

STOP THE VANDALISM!!

John W,

You think lack of respect for property rights are hypocritical?

Are you OK with how conservative and independent-minded citizens were mocked, marginalized, ignored, yelled at by their own elected officials in Congress, on the Floor of the House of Representatives, at town hall meetings, in the streets of Washington DC and right in front of the Capitol?
All these decent-minded folks have been prodded, belittled and bullied till there was no more taking it with a smile.

Power grabbing Democratic cabal and their lamestream media cohorts have prodded the wasps nest just once to often.

Now they will reap the rewards of their actions.

A true libertarian would neither disregard the property rights of another person by destroying something they didn't own, nor would they initiate the use of force against another.

Encouraging people to toss bricks through windows is indeed hypocritical and shameful.

To John W:

Should we just write our congresscritter some more?

Should we attend a townhall meeting?

Should call congress and complain?

WE'VE DONE ALL THAT! THEY AREN'T LISTENING!!!!

The majority of Americans aren't down for government healthcare! So what do we do now? Just meekly and humbly get about the train to GITMO (Auschwitz)?

Gosh, JohnW... maybe we shoould ask Thomas Jefferson, John Hancock, and a few others for permission first?
It isn't "vandalism", it's "protesting"- there's a difference. Vandalism is "wanton destruction", we're not doing tis "wantonly".
Sheesh, third graders...

@Maurice Reeves,

Mike has never claimed to be a true Libertarian. He is a Constitutionalist and takes most of his political and life philosophy from the Founding Fathers and The Bible.

At least that's what I've come to understand in reading him for the past year or two.
