I've been to Alaska. Stomped around from Denali down to Seward and East to Thompson Pass. The high ridge lines are a little different every morning because of the almost hourly quakes. Big rocks get noticeably shifted.
Mankind cannot harm or kill this planet. But this planet can take all of us out in a heartbeat. So don't fucking bore me with talk of anthropological global warming, cooling, climate change or climate chaos.
And don't bore me with talk of "scientific consensus". Consensus is a commodity that can be purchased and is definitely not science.
And if you think you can successfully arrest me and charge me with some "climate change denial" charge, come on and give it a try. Taking you and your cohorts out from 1000 yards will be great entertainment for me and my friends.
The simple fact is we live on a dynamic planet, stuff has been changing since long before humanity arrived on the scene, it will continued to do so when humanity is only a memory.
I’m in northern NH, and we only saw some spitting flakes Sunday night into Monday morning. Meanwhile, a buddy over near Caribou ME got 7.5” of snow.
June 4, 2012, we got six inches of wet snow — it was the weekend after Memorial Day. That’s our standard: unless it snows after June 4, we’re not too worried about it.
"That's a chip shot in some circles." I know this. But I'd rather let them get closer so I can watch their heads explode. At 'driver' distance, you have to go for COM. Except for them dropping to their knees, it's hard to tell how solid your hit was.

Irony impaired is not a bug. it's a feature.
Pretty sure it snowed in Western Pa. the other day also.
I'm in Wyoming at 6600 feet over sea level, snow here during May isn't out of the norm. Sometimes even in June...
I think Al Gore is having a temper tantrum over this SNOW not being part of his global warming rant. Mother Nature is in charge, not man.

Welcome to far-northern Northern New England. :)
