Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. -- 1 Peter 5:8
Is this a snitch trying to impress his handler or just another ATF undercover trying to impress his boss? Does it matter?

It's so much easier to trawl for the gullible than to do *real* law enforcement. Permitting such is a management failure.
Reading the sheeple comments on that blog makes me blood boil.
Ohhh, the banality of it all!
The guy is obviously a fed looking for an easy catch.
Yep, sheep indeed....instead of railing that NFA is wholly unconstitutional in and of itself (read Miller V. US where the SCOTUS ruled military weapons were protected under 2A)....they instead side with their masters and agree that anyone who would dare own a type of weapon without the proper tax/paperwork should be sent to prison.
Apparently, they don't realize that just as the NFA was a whim sold to the public on the "emotion" of gangsters using "machine guns" on city streets....so too will events like Sandy Hook be sold to the emotional public to ban their precious ARs and "assault rifles".
Dumbasses.
"I may not agree with the National Firearms Act, but there is no way to ever make a rifle cheap enough where I would commit a felony instead of buying the legal version."
Then all the government has to do is take your liberties little by little, and they WILL get what they want, which is to disarm Americans.
The only way we're going to be free of tyranny is to violate these laws.
Hey, be reasonable. They have to earn a paycheck to buy plywood with glory holes. Building Supply Stores don't give 'em away. Nope. Gotta have a paycheck.
That sounds like the time I was offered a questionably sourced select fire M-14 for $1,000. I told the one making the offer that a legitimate semi-automatic M1A1 for $2,000 was a better deal after you consider the cost of bail and legal representation for purchasing a fully automatic weapon without benefit of paying the $200 tax stamp.
The winning bid for providing the U.S. government 120,000 M2 carbines was $77,000,000, which works out to $641 per weapon. Add 11% Federal Excise tax, and you should be able to acquire one for yourself for $712.
Anything more is gouging, as it should not cost you any more than it costs the government.
