OK, looks like I'm going to live a little while longer. (Waco Jim Cavanaugh, please contain your disappointment.)

Arteriogram this AM showed 40% blockage in one artery, others nominal. The angina apparently came from a failure to control my hypertension adequately. (My initial congestive heart failure came from that cause, with the heart actually swelling from the pressure and pulling the valves apart so my ejection fraction was dangerously inadequate.)

My sincere thanks for all the many prayers and kind words from Sipsey Streeters and Threepers. Will be out of the hospital tomorrow morning and hopefully back in the fight by tomorrow night.

Good deal. I hope the doctors have a smart plan for you, and that you follow it. Can't have any celebrations coming from the thieves of freedom now, can we?

Enjoy the chow. Thats reason enough to get well and get the Hell out of there.

No ones fighting yet anyway. Get well before they do. 2010 will be interesting to say the least.

And Merry Christams too.

Glad you're back, and take care of yourself. Especially pay attention to your hyptertension. I suffer from it as well, and the last way I want to spend my life is gorked out after a stroke - the other alternative...

BTDT Mike. Now you get to change your life style a bit. The work won't hurt you much but the wrong foods will. You're finishing one book and talking about a couple of others so make an effort to hang around, will ya? We'd like to read 'em.

Glad to hear that you'll be OK.

I, like many others, was dreading clicking on my link to this page in case the worst came to pass.

I'm thankful that it didn't, and best wishes to you and your family in this holiday season.

Now finish up that book, and try not to get TOO riled up by the collectivists. Thankfully, you're not just shouting into the wind; others have noticed, and that wind is rapidly changing direction.

Coming late and seeing you were in trouble. Good to hear it worked out alright, but you need to take better care of yourself. I know your family needs you, but we need you too!

Mike,

I've never had the opportunity to shake your hand but, from your posts and obvious commitment to the Constitution, I am convinced that you are a friend as well as a loyal patriot.

Take care. Heal up and stay with us.

Good to hear. You've inspired me to get back on my blood pressure meds.

Glad to hear that you are keeping an eye on treatable conditions. You don't have to fix the leak, but fluids must be kept topped up to avoid pump damage.

If they lost you, there would be panic and scurrying as the Fed's search for the next "leader" of the leaderless resistance to keep an eye on and write endlessly circulating internal memos about.

You are actually doing them a favor by continuing, even though they won't admit it.

Looking forward to Absolved Amazon-dot-com book bomb day.

Best wishes.

I'm very glad to hear that. Having much the same problem, I had hoped it would work out this way or better. Informed expectations? I don't know, but you were in my thoughts and I am very pleased that you have come through it as well as you have.

Now take your damn blood pressure medicine!

Best news I've had all week!!!
When you go home, remember don't sweat the small shit. And remember everything is small shit!
We will all keep up the good fight to stop all the fantasy land libs from enacting their little control laws of all types, and ignore them if they are passed. until we can get them repealed. I have been reading your blog for years and agree with most (not all) of the things you have to say. As a former member of 5th. Group
(Provisional) I can assure you that there are a LOT of us who can make life miserable for the federal
enforcers who would try to take our God given rights away. Rights we were promised by our government that they would not try to take.

I thank God, you're ok, and yes, you had my prayers. Do what your doctors tell you, and don't fudge. You'll be ok. Go for a walk every day, too. Exercise keeps every part of you fit.

Glad you're coming through this ok.

You know, it'd make an interesting epitaph: He infuriated his enemies simply by failing to die.

They gnashed their teeth because he kept breathing.

Lots of possibilities there.

Mike, I always figured you as a big-hearted kinda guy, but don't you think the swelling/tearing business was a little extreme?

It would be to your benefit to try an herbal preperation before you allow anyone to do by-pass. Try Strauss Heart Drops. It stopped palpatations with me and others. It clears our arteries, and prevents cholesterol/fats from deposting on the arterial walls. Never subject yourself to by-pass. The arteries will clog, again!! Don't put yourself thru that nonsense.
