Bob Owens demands: "It’s Time For The Firearms Freedom Act Of 2015."

A so-called “Firearms Freedom Act” could remove some of these obsolete and uniquely American restrictions on firearms, curtailing the manner in which the ATF could get into trouble, freeing them to focus on more pressing matters than the suppression of the basic human right to armed self-defense.
Uh, huh. Who will pass this over Obama's veto? The GOP? Really? What are you smoking, Bob?

Why not try? All or nothing does not work. We did not lose all our rights overnight. We will not get all back overnight either. Make the other side compromise with us. Start taking a slice of their baloney.

The other side is never about compromise... nor bargaining ... Its about strength, power and fear of brute force... They follow the playbooks of Stalin and Hitler... Well past time we took off the rose colored sun glasses... Get It..." Common sense gun laws" ... No such animal... They mean to disarm us pure and simple... Dealing with them is like sticking you're hand into a bag of venomous snakes... Are we slaves or men ? Behind Enemy Lines...In Unconstitutional ,collectivist, Ct... We Will Not Stand Down... AAA/O.11B20.

Remember that movie called "The Pelican Brief"? Rich oil wildcatter pays a hit man to knock off two disagreeable SCOTUS associates so his bought a paid for POTUS could appoint two new friendly associates who would rule in his favor against an environmental group lawsuit who used the 'endangered' pelican to stop oil drilling.

So...what if Kagen and Ginsberg went out drinking one evening and wrapped Kagens car around an oak tree...or some other unfortunate event that made two replacement SCOTUS associates necessary at a time when a new hard core conservative republican president could make the appointments and a conservative senate could confirm?

Could a 2nd amendment ruling be rushed through that would nullify every single gun control law on the books and make the ATF obsolete?

Proposing legislation only to see it get no movement and no serious attention and certainly no passing vote much less a veto override is an outstanding way to demonstrate that there is no legislative solution to this intolerable acts problem.

Oh, Contrary, "February 17, 2015 at 1:57 AM." Here in Texas, we've been proposing open carry bills for the last four legislative sessions, (eight years). We are now on the verge of finally passing it. May not be 'exactly' to our specifications, but it is open carry.

Let's none of us hold our breaths waiting for the GOP to ride to our rescue. At virtually any time in the past 70 years, they could have done so and declined.

All that is necessary is for the House to refuse to pass a budget or a continuing resolution and REALLY shut the government down, but that takes actual courage, and THAT is what the GOP lacks.
