After extremely bad night before last, I went to ER yesterday morning, but was not admitted because after the tests, I thought I could get by without it. Good decision. I had a full night's sleep last night and am feeling better today by far. Keep us in your prayers, this is a long haul deal.

Take care of yourself, Mike. Let Dave fill in while you recuperate. What I'm trying to say is 'don't push yourself too soon.'
Praying for you.
Bless Your Heart!
I continue praying for your full recovery.
Don't overdo it.

Oh boy, you've sure been thru the ringer with this and I know it's causing a lot of stress and worry for your wife, too ! Hope things improve at a much quicker pace for you now ! As Diamond Mair said, Don't overdo it !
You're both in my prayers,

You and your family are in my prayers every day. It's going to be a day by day thing with you for a while after what you have gone through. Take it easy.
Sorry about the Iatrogenic infection, get an ambulance chaser and get some real money!!!

I agree that any news that shows improvement is good news. Just a suggestion, have someone talk to the Infection Control Department wherever you are going for treatment. They need to be on the job and AGGRESSIVE! Also, monitor the behavior of everyone who comes into contact with you ... do they wash before and after contact with you (or use hand sanitizer); are there careful cleaning activities, particularly by housekeeping/maintenance personnel, and so forth? These make the difference when it comes to nosocomial (hospital originating) infections.
Get well NOW!
