Senate Select Committee on Immigration and the Economy Community Meeting

“California’s Gun and Ammo Pipeline to the Mexican Drug Cartels”

Understanding and Stemming U.S. Firearms Trafficking to Mexico and Central America

Featuring Testimony from Tijuana Police Chief, Several Central American Governments and State, Federal and Local Law Enforcement

(Los Angeles, CA) – As head of the California State Senate Select Committee on Immigration and the Economy, Senator Kevin de León is convening a community meeting to examine California’s role as a pipeline for guns and ammunition to the Mexican drug cartels and how to improve efforts to stem such gun and ammunition trafficking.

Mexican and Central American representatives will testify on the flood of weapons and ammunition into their cities and countries and on the violence and bloodshed that result from the trafficking of those deadly weapons. State, federal and local law enforcement officials will discuss their efforts to intercept weapons flowing into Latin America and what’s necessary to step up and expand those efforts.

Now, I don't know how many Threepers there are who haven't yet self-evacuated from the LA Proletarian District of the People's Democratic Socialist Republic of Kalifornia, but if there are any left wouldn't this be a nice event to infiltrate and ask questions that contradict the meme?

Any volunteers?

Actually, there are still a few patriots in the "LA Proletarian District of the People's Democratic Socialist Republic of Kalifornia" who have not left for other parts of the People's Democratic Socialist Federation. While I can not make it to LA myself... living up here in the desert and being 140 dollars in the hole on my bills and jobless except for the few side jobs I get, I have spread this around to my contacts through various outlets. Also, I have done some research on the various "officials" who will be attending this fiasco and contacted them through e-mail and other sources available.

If there are any Americans left in Kommiefornia, they had better be there to shout down that assembly of would be tyrants.

The program continues apace. F&F is but an inconvenient sideshow.

Volunteers? Not likely.

Yes, there are still lots of Californians who believe in the right of armed self-defense. But the two California organizations allegedly dedicated to preserving those rights — The Calguns Foundation and the California Pistol and Rifle Association — are either myopically focused on a fact-free litigation strategy that guarantees losses before virtually every judge, or are terrified of any action other than polite lobbying in Sacramento.

And those individuals who are motivated enough to do something independently cannot bring themselves to think beyond juvenile “open carry” rants such as what we just witnessed earlier this week here in the Bay Area.

With friends like these, who needs enemies? Both organizations have been captured by a close-minded group of Silicon Valley tech geeks who have never been called upon to justify themselves, and the action-oriented individuals are so mad that they can't think straight.

We're screwed.

Please explain what you mean by "fact-free litigation strategy", Glen.

CalGuns does great work, within the system, in the courts, and is responsible for great leaps in liberty in this charade of a "republic". Why call them out?

I'll see what we can do. There are more of us then you'd think Mike.
Not all of us are afraid of the government of CA. We did not run from the fight when things got bad. Some of us have the balls to stand and fight and are not afraid of liberals, socialist and fascist. It is a target rich environment.

There's quite a few of us here. Look at this weekends open carry demonstration in San Diego county.
I'll put the word out and see what we can do.

We are supposed to have a constitution and bill of rights which are now openly ignored by "their" courts because "they" want these things decided in "their" favor, regardless of language, original intent and even sound logic and common sense.

The rule of law no longer exists and has been replaced by the rule of some people and not all people. That is a dictatorship. They do these things because it pleases them and they can.

i live in central main and we don't truck with city people or their notions on how we should live.we don't care what laws the fed passes because we can read the constitution better than they can.

If you get any volunteers, they are likely to be either Calguns members, or CRPA members, or both. Quite a few are NRA members andd SAF members as well.

California, being one of the most infringing states, is one of the battleground states that will likely result in litigation that will flesh out and secure the 2nd Amendment for all Americans, especially the right to carry outside the home.

Sure, you can do it in other states, but it is not yet an activity protected by the 2nd Amendment. Cases in litigation from California have a chance to go to the SCOTUS to secure that right.
