COL Seddon, Royal Logistics Corps, top British bomb disposal officer in Afghanistan, recipient of the Queen's Commendation for Bravery.
A sterling example, from a Brit no less, about how a real officer deals with conflicts between his oath, his orders, the welfare of his troops and what is right.

I guess we can still learn a thing or two from them after all.
The only thing an honorable officer can do under the circumstances.

This is the kind of man who made Victorian Britain into "Great Britain." Sadly, he and his mates are increasingly a rarity on both sides of the Atlantic.
