I keep getting error messages. Other times it refuses to recognize me as human. (Of course my ex-wife claimed that at the custody hearing.)
Not to mention, of course, their world-wide facilitation of dictatorships. Screw 'em. Anybody got a better alternative?

Go to constitution.org/search.htm for a large selection. I mostly use clusty.com, which aggregates most of the search engines except google.
I use these guys:
http://www.scroogle.org/
Here's a WND article about them:

How's that new one, "bing", from MicroSoft-in-the-head.
Of course, that's strike one against them already.

I use the scroogle machine exclusively....they hate Google, too!
Bing seems OK but MS is run by a bunch of moonbat lefties.
I typically use Yahoo!
It is a separate entity from Google they just partner on technology.
It's still run by moonbats though.
Been using dogpile for years.

Found this on Lifehacker - http://lifehacker.com/software/seek-and-ye-shall-find/seek-and-ye-shall-find-top-ten-alternative-search-engines-143293.php
Click on the link in the last paragraph and has a large list of engines -
Hope you find it entertaining -

I like this one best...

scroogle.org, uses google and strips info, can be installed in toolbar, I like it more than others
http://www.cuil.com/ does not keep info
http://www.ixquick.com/ protects privacy too
Thanx for this...
Google had a "Do Not Enter" sign at the foot of Sipsey St the other day. Something about 'spam'...
Try http://www.iboogie.com or http://clusty.com.
I put them here, also, in case the earlier message got lost in the mail.
I like Ixquick.com; multiple search engines, a reasonable culling of matches, & best of all, it is private. They do not store IP addresses, delete any user info collected.
Cheers,
I like ixquick.com; it is pretty good at finding things and does not store IP addresses or user data.
Cheers,
You might try the metacrawler.

Ixquick is now known as startpage, or startpage.com, but it is the same thing, only easier to remember. Nice metabrowser. I use it often :)

I agree also.
