Back by popular demand: "What is a Three Percenter?"

King's Mountain

What is a 'Three Percenter'?

During the American Revolution, the active forces in the field against the King's tyranny never amounted to more than 3% of the colonists. They were in turn actively supported by perhaps 10% of the population. In addition to these revolutionaries were perhaps another 20% who favored their cause but did little or nothing to support it. Another one-third of the population sided with the King (by the end of the war there were actually more Americans fighting FOR the King than there were in the field against him) and the final third took no side, blew with the wind and took what came.

Three Percenters today do not claim that we represent 3% of the American people, although we might. That theory has not yet been tested. We DO claim that we represent at least 3% of American gun owners, which is still a healthy number somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 million people. History, for good or ill, is made by determined minorities. We are one such minority. So too are the current enemies of the Founders' Republic. What remains, then, is the test of will and skill to determine who shall shape the future of our nation.

The Three Percent today are gun owners who will not disarm, will not compromise and will no longer back up at the passage of the next gun control act. Three Percenters say quite explicitly that we will not obey any further circumscription of our traditional liberties and will defend ourselves if attacked. We intend to maintain our God-given natural rights to liberty and property, and that means most especially the right to keep and bear arms. Thus, we are committed to the restoration of the Founders' Republic, and are willing to fight, die and, if forced by any would-be oppressor, to kill in the defense of ourselves and the Constitution that we all took an oath to uphold against enemies foreign and domestic.

We are the people that the collectivists who now control the government should leave alone if they wish to continue unfettered oxygen consumption. We are the Three Percent. Attempt to further oppress us at your peril.

To put it bluntly, leave us the hell alone.

Or, if you feel froggy, go ahead AND WATCH WHAT HAPPENS.

Here's the deal, as embodied in the Doctrine of the Three Percent:

We will not disarm.

You cannot convince us.

You cannot intimidate us.

You can try to kill us, if you think you can.

But remember, we'll shoot back.

And we are not going away.

Your move.

If the "government" wants to come for my guns, I will give them all the ammunition I have first (as fast as I can load).

I wondered if I might be a "Threeper." Now, I know I always was one.

I Would say that your % is low way low - more like 10% as all of us who grew up in the gun culture, have passed this knowledge onto our kids & grandkids, hell my daughters can make better use of a hand gun then I ever could, but a bow or rifle & my sons & I have few equals - & this is repeated in all the smaller towns thru out America - The air is poisoned - the food - the water. The big trigger could come when this flu vaccine becomes mandatory ie - you will take the shot or we will inject you by force with this poison - Can't happen you say - check out the state law just passed in Massachusetts - Talk like a warrior - easy but live like one a bit harder

Peace

WE the British people hereby cancel the declaration of independance and once again take the American people under their wing;

Because you have been very naughty, and you cannot be trusted.

You have wrecked the world financial system. Upset all of those moody muslims over the pond and generally misbehaved in a way not befitting a country so young.... Read More

We would like to remind you that the land you walk on actually belongs to the Native people that you stuck in the shittiest parts of the country after killing thier main food source ( virtually making a species extinct) and introducing alcohol to a teetotal non drinking matriachal society.

I would also warn you that we are hereby banning all of those womens games that you stole from us and then changed the rules and claimed as your own, Basketball ( netball), Baseball ( rounders) American Football (Womans Rugby with pads). And for making up world championships in all these sports and not inviting any other country to participate and subsequently crowning yourself world champions......!!!
This is not sharing and its naughty and you must be punished.
We therefore will tax you all of your gold reserves and 10% of your timberland and nike stores.
We will take 20% of your dentistry workforce to sort out the British smile and we demand that you stops sending your old hurricanes up the jetstream in our summer so half the atlantic ends up on us whilst we are trying to play tennis and cricket.

We will review this position in 200 years and then you may be responsible enough to govern yourself again.

Earlier this year, I got a firearms permit for the first time in my life (I am over 50). It was interesting that there was a line to get the required fingerprint card - including several other first time applicants. I will purchase a firearm soon less for protection than to make a statement about infringement of individual liberty.

It is almost unimaginable to think what compels the people of a free country to willingly disarm themselves because their government ordered them to do so. The good people of Australia did so 10 years ago because as life-long subjects of the British Crown they were conditioned to having privileges given and taken away. That is main difference between "subjects" and "citizens" and why American's will not act accordingly. We have our God given, inalienable Rights and no government will be allowed to take them away.

Is it not time to reinstitute the local organized militia? It is our heritage, and also a Constitutional right. The states 'militias have been federalized into the National Guard, but militias were local also. Such militias would be a good complement to the Oath keepers and the Three Percenters.

Thank you all for your courage. I just found your site on a link. I am quite a whimpy type of woman. I believe I would go pretty far in giving in to many gov. infringements on my liberty, out of fear. I've given this some realistic thought though and there are TWO places I definately draw the line. #1. The freedom to educate my children as I see fit. #2 No government will EVER, EVER, EVER, take my families guns. EVER. No matter what. I would be the last person they suspect would hold my ground on this but they would be sadly wrong. I believe I am not alone. I am happy to know I have some good back up here!!

God gave me my rights and only he can take them away. These global communists will be sent to hell where they belong when they come after us. Do not doubt that they will.

With the 2010 election already looking like it will be a landslide for constitutional supporters like us, do you really think that an illegal alien usurping in the presidency is going to allow the elections to proceed unfettered?

He rigged the election to get into office, imagine what he's capable of with his hand on the levers of power.

The people will win this conflict, but some may die. I'm ready.

If you have not yet viewed this video, you must go to youtube.com and watch this six part series!

The History of Gun Control - Innocence Lost

www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSsNdMsXTNU

It seems the percentage is higher. Just casual conversation with strangers at the local hardware store, with men older (70's) and wiser than me, indicate people are arming their homes to defend their families from our rogue government.

I wonder how many are aware of how fast our freedoms can be forever lost?

One of these days one of you dipshits will try to pop a cap in Obama's or Rachel Maddow's ass or some other equally futile and stupid gesture and your worst nightmare will come true.

C'mon, dopes, wake up. You guys like to think you're all big, bad independent, rugged-individualists but you're all just puppets of the fire arms lobby lead by NRA vice-president for life Wayne LaPierre.

Wow, how did you arrive at that conclusion? I didn't see any mention of that on this site. You are a bit irrational, no?

I don't think I am a puppet. I am not an NRA member and lived my whole life without a gun.

If more "sheeple" read the constitution and were aware of the danger of giving away freedoms that "big, bad independent, rugged-individualists" (I prefer the term patriots) fought and died for, then wouldn't be in this mess.

Why is Wayne LaPierre the only person talking about protecting individual citizens constitutional rights? Why don't we here more of that kind of talk from the "public servants" we send to represent us in government?

I was surfing on my favorite websites and came across links to Oath Keepers and this blog. The labels of right-wing fanatics have been used to describe OK and 3%'ers, but, I'm not convinced. What I've read here, and elsewhere, from you is a collection of opinions and comments that show purpose to the cause of protecting America from all enemies foreign and domestic. I'm with you all come hell or high water - yet, I consider myself left-libertarian. Labels, for what their worth, are meaningless in the face of tyranny. We are all Americans, and we must never forget that or become proxies of the merciless machinations of the powerful elitists who seem to relish in destroying the very nature of our non-elitist way of life. I apologize for linking to my own blog, but two days ago I posted an entry called, "We live like this because we have no guns." It a common sentiment I heard from more than a few people while working in Burma.
http://daneopa.blogspot.com/2009/10/we-live-like-this-because-we-have-no.html In my humble opinion, governance in today's Burma is the kind of country the corporate banksters would love to wallow in. Peace to all.

What were the Founders trying to accomplish when they drafted the
Constitution? That is, other than forming a workable Federal Government that
could hold the States together without sacrificing their sovereignty? The
answer resides within the Bill of Rights.

Individual sovereignty was always the underlying principal that
distinguished the United States from the rest of the worlds governments. The
Bill of Rights was the affirmation of that sovereignty, and insurance for
it's protection. Listed in order of importance, the right to bear arms comes
right after the First Amendment that guarantees freedom of political speech,
along with freedom of assembly to protest the government, and of coarse,
freedom of religion. The Second Amendment protects the First Amendment, as it does all our unalienable rights.
